This spotless and spacious self-catering apartment had all the amenities, and is VERY conveniently located; near many restaurants and across the street from a shopping mall. Inverter and batteries made loadshedding a breeze!
The Nespresso machine made great coffees, but a coffee plunger will be great for those travelling with ground coffee.

The apartment is spacious and mostly well-equipped. The shower is great once you figure out which is the hot tap. The desk in the main bedroom is perfect for working — near a wall socket and facing a window. I also liked that I could walk everywhere from the apartment.
The apartment claims to have sound-proofing. It turned out to be extremely noisy. Traffic noise isn't a problem because it stops at night. But the other residents don't stop at night. The students in the flat below were partying Tuesday evening. They eventually went out but then returned after midnight and kept me awake until after 02h00 in the morning.
The apartment also had almost no backup lights for load-shedding — fortunately I had brought my own.

The property was situated within the main Stellenbosch area. Perfect for getting out and about within the city. The apartment was large and beautifully appointed making self catering easy. Would definitely stay there again.
We were uncertain where to park but fortunately Simone came out to direct us to the parking and our apartment. Did need to go up two flights of stairs with our luggage.

The Apartment was very spacious and well equipped. There even were two bathrooms, such a nice luxury! Salome welcomed us, so the check in went easy. The Appartement owner, helped us organize an airport pick up and our early check in, so we felt very well taken care of, and our arrival to South Africa went very smoothly and stressfree.
There isn't much to complain here. The master bedroom didn't have a shower, only bathtub without a showerhead. This was a bit unconvienient for quick showers.

Very central location, easy to walk to shops and restaurants. Parking in Stellenbosch is difficult so the central location was fabulous. Oldish block of flats but interior decor was lovely and stylish. A very pleasant stay indeed!

It's important to be honest in reviews - otherwise, what use are they? What was good about this stay: good communication, flexible host (early check-in). Spacious apartment with plenty of natural light. Large and comfortable bed (only 2 of us in the 2-bed apartment), plenty of hot water and good shower pressure. Good towels and bedding. Efficient air-conditioning in all rooms. Good amenities - coffee machine, dishwasher, etc. Fast and reliable wifi. Nice outlook to hills, though over a busy road and car park. Secure private parking (essential in Stellenbosch). Hurricane lamps provided for load-shedding blackouts.
Apartment is rather tired in terms of decor and maintenance in some areaa. Shower room and other areas in need of a refresh. Cleaning could be more thorough - balcony and balcony furniture not at all clean, so we did that ourselves. It is above a busy road and there was considerable noise through the aluminium-framed windows. Saggy sofa and chairs. The major negative for us was waking 3 mornings out of 5 to find a dead rat in the courtyard, plus one live rat. I accept that anywhere can have a rat infestation, and clearly this was being addressed and the rat poison traps were doing their job, but it was not the experience one hoped for in entering or exiting the building.

The property is secure and in a great location for walking around Stellenbosch. Private parking is available, which is a great bonus in this town. The owner/manager was very friendly and helpful and the property had everything we needed.
Only the main bedroom is airconditioned. The second bedroom has a fan, but the room is too small to put it in a place where it would make a difference. A ceiling fan would be a better option. The master en-suite bathroom only has a bath. A shower attachment or over-bath shower would make a difference, as our friends in the master bedroom ended up using the en-suite shower in the small second bedroom that we stayed in.

It was extremely clean and had everything you could possibly need in terms of crockery etc.
It is quite noisy outside as it is on a busy road so there is a lot of traffic.

The location was excellent. There was no breakfast on offer but there is a supermarket directly over the road
for easy shopping and a breakfast spot downstairs.
The main bedroom has en suite bath. The second bedroom has en suite shower.

Nothing was bad. Parking is a little tight and no elevator at the building but this was not a problem for us, could be for someone with limited mobility or very heavy luggage

It was comfortable. The ambiance was great as well as the serenity of the place. I love the fact that it is close to shops and attraction sites. The picturesque view was a cherry on top.

Perfect location for easy access to shops and eateries. Checkers is just across the street for grocery shopping. Lovely view from living room and bedroom. Loved the little table/desk in front of the window in the bedroom.

The flat was amazing, and right in the hustle and bustle of Stellenbosch Central. Walking distance to all amenities and restaurants, and plenty of space and comfort in the unit!
