Pension Cuatro Torres

Personal touch & welcome

-

Location is good to go to the Dutch embassy.

A coffeemachine in the room would be a great addition.

-it had everything you might need for a short stay. even a refrigerator! -they gave me a clean towel after the first night, which i did not expect :) pleasant surprise -the AC works really well and helps you adjust to the climate :) -the bed was comfortable -there are plenty of ways to get to other parts of the city

-the room’s window goes straight onto the street, i could not pull the blind down fully, so it felt a little bit weird -the walls are very thin so you can hear your neighbours and everything from the hall, someone kept making noise with the lock for 30 minutes at 2 am and it freaked me out

The beds were comfy and the location was perfect (in a business area which seemed safe and close to a metro stop). The room had a tv and a mini fridge which was nice. Check in was easy, the number to call was outside the property and also on booking.com

There was only one free socket to charge mobiles etc in a twin room and when used it smelt of burning. Also no WiFi and although the bathrooms were cleaned by staff, they often had no soap and the floors were flooded after other guests had showered and not tidied up. There are 2 doors to enter the property but our key only worked for one which was not explained at the start, although the housekeeping team were really friendly and suggested to try the second door! Thank goodness as when I called the number to ask what I should do as the keys didn’t work, no one picked up to help. The property was generally clean and the cleanliness of the bathrooms very much depends on who is also staying, so the guesthouse was as described on the website.
