Lovely place to stop en route between Fes and Merzouga - and met others doing the same! Warm, quiet, friendly and good breakfast.

We didn't book dinner in advance - would have if we knew to! Found a good restaurant in Midelt, but would have stayed for dinner.

Kasbah Izoran is the perfect location after visiting the busy city of Fes. The host is very kind and is willing to answer to all you questions. The authentic food was delicious and was one of the best diners we have had in Morocco. The location is also outstanding. With a 10 min walk you will find a beautiful canyon. Would 100% recommend

this place is awesome! the owner, mustafa, furnished it himself with great taste! the facility matches perfectly with the surrounding nature. the yard is beautiful with a breathtaking view. specially at dusk

Mustafa has built this amazing Kasbah. His welcome was great and he helped us when our car broke down. The decor is truly original Berber and we enjoyed the great brochettes his wife cooked even when we arrived late at night. An absolute highlight on our Morocco Tour. we’ll be back!

A wonderful, friendly family and a beautiful house. Also, Mustafa is a very attentive and knowledgable host, which made for some really interesting conversations. It was also great to have a properly hot shower (solar heated water, so loads of hot water if you are not arriving too late in the evening) and a delicious dinner after a long drive. Thank you! It is worth being aware that the property is a few kilometres from the main road, but our GPS (using Waze) took us straight to the property.

It would have been nice to have the option to buy wine with dinner but we do appreciate that not everywhere serves wine/beer in Morocco.

We had a truly amazing time here! So friendly welcoming family. Was one of the best places we stayed at for our 2 weeks travel in Morocco. Everything was perfect.

The host of the Kasbah was very kind and accommodating. We were late getting there, and the host patiently gave us directions. Our diver was exhausted after 9 hours of driving, so the host was kind enough to offer the driver a room, without sending him off to look for lodging in the town of Midelt. They even made me a special vegetarian meal as I said I wouldn't eat beef, which was on the menu that night. The Kasbah is located in a beautiful area surrounded by apple orchards and other crops. Best lodging in Midelt!

The Kasbah is located away from the town of Midelt on unpaved roads, so it was difficult to find. The GPS doesn't work well in the area either. So, plan to arrive there while there is light. It gets windy at night, and you can here it in the room.

It was perfectly clean and our host, Moustafa was an amazing host, he made us feel very welcome and comfortable. It was a great stop off on our way to Merzouga!

Moustafa is a great host! We had a great time at his place and with his lovely family. The views from his place are wonderful, and there are a few short hiking trails from there in the valley. Don't miss the opportunity to have s night or more in his place if you are around Midelt

Kasbah Izoran is an amazing place. The location is beautiful, but most of all you will feel like being at home. Thank you for the amazing hospitality!

Immersed in nature, Kasbah Izoran is a perfect location for those who want to visit the area around midelt or for those who are passing through the north and south of morocco. Moustafa is a great host, kind, attentive and conveys all the love he has for his homeland. I recommend dining at the Kasbah, here we ate the best tagine of the whole trip.

It is not easy to get there if you don't have a car, but it is the perfect stop on the trip from Fez to the desert

It's a very nice and cozy place with a lovely and attentive host family. My family truly enjoyed our stay there. The hotel is well decorated and clean. We liked the breakfast very much. Among many other hotels we've visited in Morocco it is among the best very few.

We planned a one-night stop in Midelt while driving from Fez to Merzouga. However, as soon as we arrived at Kasbah Izoran, we wished we'd booked another night or two. The kasbah was built by the owner and his family, and they reside onsite. In short, the environs and setting of the property are spectacular, in a valley with a view of the snow-covered Atlas Mountains. The owner is multilingual, very friendly and knowledgeable about the local area, Morocco, and Amazigh (Berber) culture. I stayed in the "Martin Luther King" room, which was great. The decor of the property are traditional and it was obvious the place was a home not only only for the owner and his family, but for guests as well. The owner even gave me a chunk of chalcedony rock that was helping to decorate the front garden!

Can't think of any negatives. Honestly, one of the few "hidden gems" of our trip. Wished we'd stayed another night or two.

Our stay at Kasbah izoran was really pleasant. Unfortunately my boyfriend was stomach sick, but the owner didn't esitate to prepare him a soup for his dinner ( while I had a super tasty meatball tajine for dinner!) and took care of us to make our stay comfortable.The moment you enter the Kasbah you are treated as a family member and I loved it. Everything was just perfect and really good value 🙂

The owner hospitality is the best. Good breakfast. Very nice familiy. I recomend!
