Perfect location for exploring what Hook Norton has to offer and the surrounding areas. Beautiful pub and very welcoming staff. Dog friendly with a big garden too which was important too.

Nice traditional pub in a good location. Good menu for evening meals.
Poor Internet connection in the pub and no phone signal for O2. Missed a good traditional cooked breakfast

Wonderful location and the pub is lovely with outside seating front and back and fires in winter. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Staff were great, dinner was good and the pub is dog friendly and welcomed our furry friend. There are great local walks from the doorstep and Hook Norton is very pretty. Our room was at the front opposite a beautiful church, which chimes regularly. We liked it ( and the pub thoughtfully supplies ear plugs if you don't).
The breakfast was disappointing and chaotic. The WiFi didn't work

It was very average
Rooms looked tired, I would say a refurbish wouldn’t be a bad idea.
