The location was excellent and the restaurant downstairs was excellent

69 dirty dingy steps to climb. No tv. No microwave. Shower cubicle disgusting. No hooks in bathroom to hang clothes or towels. Only one wine glass no corkscrews. Had to mop kitchen floor of coffee stains when got there. No mirrors in bedrooms. Patio door handle kept falling off.

The central location was great. The apartment was clean and well-equipped.

The room was not set up until 3 hrs. after check in. Dark entry and steep stairs to get to apt.

Host, location, apartment are great! You can find everything needed for you family with kids there. Kitchen, tea, coffee, sugar and salt are there, good internet. Beautiful cafe in front of the entrance. It's not luxury, but clean and well equipped, great value for the money.

We had an issue with electricity, however our host did his best to solve it in an hour.

Absolutely superb location in a traditional building and welcoming host! Lovely apartment, very clean with two generous bedooms, with lovely high ceilings, that opened up onto the balcony. Perfect for visiting Catania town. The proximity to the Greek theatre and all the shops, restaurants and bars is second to none. A good price too. We had a great trip!

Located on the third floor, you do have to walk up quite a few stairs so be mindful if you have small children or have difficulty walking. Also watch your head on the bathroom door...as my husband found out!
