Lagos Continental Hotel

I loved the hotel’s relaxing ambiance, cleanliness, and the polite, professional staff. The service was excellent, and the overall experience was very good.

There was very little to dislike; overall, my stay was comfortable and enjoyable.

I had a wonderful stay at the LCH. The bathroom was my favourite feature—it was clean and well maintained. The staff were welcoming and friendly throughout my visit. Tolulope, the Guest Relations Manager, was exceptional, and Eniola at the Club Lounge was especially helpful and attentive. Overall, it was a brilliant stay.

There’s a lovely Scottish word, “hame”. It means home, of course, but somehow it carries a little more warmth than that. And, increasingly, the Lagos Continental feels like my Lagos version of it. This was another repeat stay for me and, remarkably, every visit seems to exceed the one before. It is a genuinely stunning hotel, beautifully kept and spotlessly clean, but it is the people and the consistency of the experience that really make it stand out. The customer service is exceptional. There is a warmth to the welcome here that matters enormously when you are returning somewhere, and I am always made to feel that I am genuinely welcome rather than simply another hotel guest. The location is excellent too, and then there is the breakfast... which remains one of my absolute highlights! In Scotland we sometimes describe somewhere particularly beautiful as “braw”. The Lagos Continental is considerably more glamorous than anywhere I would normally use that word to describe, but braw it most certainly is. Another wonderful stay. And, once again, somehow even better than the last.

They got rid of my favourite lemon chiffon tart from the lobby cafe.

I love the whole experience in the property. Our stay met our expectation and the reason why we were there.

Although we enjoyed our stay. The room was a little bit humid and damp and as such the air was kind of stale. This affected my breathing at night. Also the common areas need better airfreshners; like what it was some few years back like 4-5 years ago.
