The staff was soo Nice and welcoming and they definitely made efforts to make this trip so special for us ! The view is amazing We had our private pool in the suite and had the floating breakfast.. it was amazing!

The menu is a bit too simple so after 3 days you get a bit tired to eat the same things.. but it was super tasty!

Amazing location, I highly recommend it! You can swim everyday even though there is a tide, thanks to the jetty. The staff is atentive to your needs, rooms are large and very clean, the resort is secluded and zen with lots for palm trees & plants. Loved the ocean in front of the resort & the exterior space, pool is great! Even though they do not have the classic buffet, the breakfast food was good. For dinner options, the portions could be a bit bigger. They organize barbeque night - lots of food options- seafood was delicious- with live music which we really enjoyed!

Friendly staff let me mention Mr Ayubu, he clearly explains everything well well even at menu for one to get what you really want. Keep it up Mr Ayubu. Very good food, very romantic scenery, Beautiful and clean room. Service is top notch. Excellent for honeymoon, private facility, little beach is not full compare to others. Good for honeymoon or proposing someone's daughter. Meals and drinks prices are reasonable

The view was great, the outdoor beds were wonderful, staff was fantastic.

WiFi was weak, food was bland (specifically the prawns and the pancakes need a different recipe, just tasted like flavorless dough), and the road to get there was horrible, also mosquitoes were in the room.

We loved everything. The facility, the staff, the beach, their food and their services. It was awesome experience. The resort is well located, away from noise. All the staff were diligent and friendly. Starting from Paul the manager, isa, ayouble , hamadi, down to the security. The receptionist too medina she's nice. The cleaners did great too. Witness was diligent with her Job. Yousuf was a good guy too. Happy people.. very hardworking 👏 ❤ I hope to be back with my kids to blue moon. 💙

The place exceeded our expectations. First, we were welcomed by very friendly staff and this remained true throughout our stay there. Second, the air-conditioned room is really spacious with more space than you'd need during a vacation, and the bed is super comfortable. There's also a safe inside the room to keep your valuables, and door locking system is very secure. Third, the beach experience is glorious - quiet beach where you can enjoy morning/evening walks, and the jetty is probably the best place in the entire establishment (complete with an infinity pool overlooking the ocean). The jetty also has enough seats and beds so you can spend your entire day there. The food is also nice and this experience is topped up by the extra friendly staff who all seem happy to work there (this left a really good impression on us). I would go back to Blue Moon for sure!

The staff, especially Diana, were amazing. The facilities and look of the place was beautiful ❤️. The pictures don't do it justice. One of the best looking places I've ever seen.

The food and drinks are over priced. There was no variety as well. The hotel made us sign a contract when we checked in and didn't allow any food or beverages from outside. This wasn't communicated beforehand.

Would not recommend! They did not give us any compensation for this horrible experience! Please read. Update september 6th: Things got worse. We got a new room because the smell in room pool 3 wasn’t going away. So we got room pool 2 on Monday September 5th. The room seemed better but then we saw cockroaches everywhere. In the fridge and the worst thing ever…the were coming out of the bed and the bedframe and flying and walking through the room. We could not take it anymore it was horrible!!! We had to book another hotel for the remaining days to save our holiday. Update September 2nd: I had a nice conversation during the day with the owner and she just came to check with us at our room if everything was okay and she made her apologies for the we were approached by the manger. There is a strange smell in the room but she tries everything to fix it. She brought her own air freshner. • We just checked in (Thursday sept 1st) at this resort after a week of kind people and managers at Upendo (Stone Town) & Imara Beach Resort (Kiwengwa) . We had some complementary drinks of Imara (2 beer) for the trip to Jambiani. We did not drink it during the trip so we had it in our bag to see. After checking in with the super nice receptionist Balbina (who really had manager vibes) and eating. The luxury room was ready for us. Unfortunately the real manager of Blue Moon Resort (Paul) was so disrespectful to us telling us he won’t sell anything to us because of the two beer. I was ready to lose the beer and then he said he will allow it and made a wrong joke about how a business works. We are business owners. His whole attitude was very wrong, like he dislikes women and we don’t know why. It’s so disrespectful. Especially because i am spending a lot of money here. • The quads didn’t work and the jet ski didn’t work properly.

I like the staff, they are nice and especially one guy call AYUBU, he is more than the word good. he is doing the work like is his father's property. He is smart, hardworking, he is fun to be around and he is lovely. The way he works I don't know if he get tired or not. He made my wife and I enjoyed the place blue moon. AYUBU is very good.

Is a very nice , beautiful,quiet and private place to visit every time you want to go out for holidays and honeymoon. For their food, 100 percent good. Fruit juice good.

The property was very wide by itself, restaurant and swimming pools very clean. The stuff were welcome and very helpful for all customers needs. The cleaning team were checking twice the room, making sure the rooms are full with amenities and spraying for insects. The area is very quiet, feels like a private resort when you are there.

EVERYTHING is beautiful here in this resort. Starting with all the staff, SPECIALLY ALHAJ RASHID on the reception is super hero, he made sure our stay is FABULOUS and UNFORGETTABLE.
