A lovely cottage in Dartmoor, very peaceful and quiet. All the rooms were nicely decorated and very clean. The kitchen had pretty much everything we needed and even a surprise welcome gift from the owner. The garden was spacious enough for our dog to go on a little night walk before bed. The TV in the living room had good options including Netflix, and a wood burner which we didn't use – but would have used if it was winter. All in all a very pleasant stay.

It was a little too pricey for 3 people – would have been more affordable if it was for 6.

The property was excellently located for town-hopping in South Devon as well as for local walking. It was well decorated, comfortable, and very very clean. It also had beautiful gardens which in the Summer months would be a lovely place to sit out.

I felt that considering the expensive price of the property it was missing a few basic amenities. For instance, there were no boxes of tissues anywhere in the property so we had to purchase our own. The bathrooms were stocked with shower gel, but no shampoo or conditioner. We were only given one house key, despite being two couples, so if we had wanted to spend our days separately it would have been quite tricky to organise and make sure none got locked outside. Finally, we had to strip the beds and empty all the bins ourselves upon departure which felt a little extreme to me (compared to in other places I’ve stayed where I would do the dishes and leave the place clean and tidy but not strip the bedding).

Fabulous accommodation, spotlessly clean and well equipped. Rob and Allison catered for every need. Lovely gesture welcome hamper - prosecco, crisps, shortbread biscuits and milk.Rob met us on arrival and departure to ensure we had everything we needed.
