I really have no complaints; the restaurant was even able to accommodate us for dinner one evening on very short notice and when they were fully booked!

A bit pricy for the season

Very lovely, cozy and modern hotel. Near city center, 10-15 min to walk to, with private beach and all SPA facilities - everything you could wish for! Comfortable bed and pillows. Breakfast was really good, compliments to the kitchen. Staff were very helpful keeping room clean and tidy.

Everything was perfect!

My room faces directly to the sea. The view is fantastic. The location of the hotel is great. It is not too far away from the port nor the old city. Both are in walkable distance. The hotel is also reachable with car. Therefore, it would be recommended for those who have heavy luggages. The beach under the hotel looks beautiful. Though not at the proper temperature during my visit, it should be great to swim there, just telling from the appearance. The room is super super clean. The staffs are freindly and very helpful. It is an enjoyable stay. The offered breakfast is good.

When I arrived hotel, they gave me an upgraded room. The view from the room was amazing facing ocean and beach. I stayed 3-days in this hotel. I always liked to have breakfast. It was really nice meal there.

Amazing hotel from which you can hear the sound of the waves, in walkable distance from old town, very nicely furnished and the stuff makes you fell very welcome and relaxed…superb breakfast…

It was one of my best trips ever. Dubrovnik is beautiful town, but stay in hotel Excelsior make trip even nicer. I booked initially Bellevue hotel, but they wrote me on time that hotel will be unexpected closed during my stay in Dubrovnik and if I accept to be in Excelsior hotel for same money. It was very nice, they ask this. They gave me similar room with amazing view in Excelsior hotel. Experience from Excelsior hotel is just perfect. Very nice lady Vesna welcome me nice and any time I saw her was sincere greetings and what ever she could help she was ready. Location perfect, food, beach, wellness area, big swimming pool, music every night but choice of very quality musicians

Took a long time for the water to get warm in the shower - I felt a bit wasteful waiting for it to warm up. This is all I could come up with for 'didn't like' though!

great property, location, staff and amenities.

What a wonderful hotel. The breakfast was fantastic, and the food and wine in the restaurant for dinner was simply stunning. The view from the room was beautiful and the room itself was a good size with a very comfortable bed. The staff were very friendly and attentive, they also seemed genuinely happy to be working there which gave the whole hotel a really positive feel. The drinks from the bar were excellent, as was the bar food. The hotel is a 15 minute walk from the Old City which is the perfect distance to escape the noise and bustle but still be within striking distance, and there are also plenty of taxis available. The indoor pool area was quiet and relaxing with a lovely warm jacuzzi and plenty of sunloungers. All in all a wonderful stay and a hotel I would recommend to anyone coming to Dubrovnik.

Very little to fault here, I only wish we had stayed longer to take full advantage of the hotel facilities.

amazing location on the beach, gorgeous rooms, view over Adriatic unbeatable, superb breakfast room and patio overlooking the sea - stunning hotel. it was a long but pleasant walk to the Old Town and also Lapad but one could easily take public transport either direction.

It was just a very good very well run and very friendly hotel one of the best I've stayed in and I have stayed in proberly well over 100 in the last 20 years business and pleasure

The air-conditioning could've been a bit stronger in the room

Beautiful room, high value infrastructure, one of the best bathrooms I ever had in a hotel facility, room extra clean, generous check-out times, parking on site. Extraordinary staff in the restaurant, both at dinner and breakfast - they go the extra mile. The breakfast is an experience by itself I will keep in excellent memories for a while.

The two reasons why I do not give a 10: 1) Location of our room. We got the last room at the end of the corridor, described as side sea view. I had to hang over into the balcony of my neighbors to the left to see appear some part of the sea. Generally and from everywhere in the room and on the terrace, you have a view onto the rock: in this price category, I would not take it again, not worth it 2) Disappointing that we booked a « one bed/one mattress » and got a rearranged twin - in this price category for me this is not acceptable or you leave the guests the choice Not the end of the world, but a) We had no hair dryer in the room, b) our kettle was not working Check-out was a bit of a mess, but not a big deal
