Staff - cannot fault them. Everyone was friendly, polite, helpful and cheery. Emily, Alicia, and Cam on reception were lovely. Helen was incredible. Scott very helpful. Becca P - fantastic. Beth - who ensured we were looked after when my husband was taken ill (not food or drink related). Food was just delicious and all plates cleaned! Utterly scrummy and beautifully presented. It exceeded our expectations. The function room - Oak Suite was spotlessly clean and perfect for our AGM and then the celebrations in the evening. Location - ideal for all attendees due to road and rail links to Northampton. Beautiful rural setting.

Very limited areas for guests to sit on the Sunday as there was a Wedding Fayre which took over the entire bar area and all indoor seating.

A very well appointed hotel with good food.

Our room was not serviced Saturday.

Good location for our purpose. Good, plentiful breakfast. Excellent soundproofing - we couldn’t hear a particularly loud event in the hotel.

The hotel was a bit tired in places and our room was not ready on arrival - we had to wait approx 45 mins. Very dark walk to and from the car park at night.

The pool was good for my son, he loved it

There were a couple of weddings on as we stayed over a weekend but the staff seemed to be prioritising the weddings and not the regular paying guests as there were long waits for food and drink in the bar. It was hard trying to find a member of staff on a few occasions as the bar was empty and I had to go searching for them in the back. When I did, they seemed confused as to why I was wanting to find service for the bar. The room service didn’t work after a few attempts, otherwise I would have done that. It thought the stay was a lot of money and I expected a bit better service and facilities for that price.
