Greetham Valley

Bedroom comfortable and spacious with large bed and good size TV. Ensuite adequate. Good choice at breakfast, cooked breakfast good but if you went down the latter part of service it was a bit overdone/dry. View from room over golf course was great. Staff pleasant and helpful. Ability to get a meal in Restaurant/bar in evening was good.

If you didn't go down to breakfast early, cooked choice was a bit overdone/dry. Tea choice bland. Meal we had in bar was bit average so ate out second night at nearby pub 5min drive away. Bathroom drains made a bit of noise.

Spacious, clean and the staff were excellent - highly recommend this location 5*****

Nothing.

Convenient for breaking a journey, just off the A1, but with the lovely views and attractive surrounding villages would also be good for a short break or golf experience. An excellent breakfast was cheerfully served.

Breakfast on the first day was abysmal. When we arrived there was no staff member to greet us. After standing looking lost someone eventually turned up and explained the procedure, although I don't think she was supposed to be serving. Many of the breakfast items had been used up and not replenished. There were no fruit juices, butter for toast, milk for cereal and most of the hot food items. Eventually another staff member arrived and we were able to ask for the items to be replenished, On the second day a member of staff was there and the items were well stocked, The food quality was ok but the quality of the scrambled and fried eggs wasn't good. We would have raised these matters when we checked out but the reception staff were otherwise engaged and we just had to leave the key with another staff member

Breakfast as above
