Aristea Hotel

kleineres Hotel, sehr sauber, wirklich alles was man braucht. Das ganze Personal ist extrem freundlich und nett, aber die beiden Damen an der Reception waren grandios.

Das Gym ist extrem klein und besteht aus 4-5 Geräten

The general ambiance of the hotel is nice, amenities are very good and the pool look really good. Location is perfect close to Rethymno but not in the center.

Bathroom finishes are a bit old or not deeply cleaned. The pipes have a bad smell.

Great place. The breakfast is absolutely amazing.

The room size was great, but there was a strange, specific smell that didn't go away even with airing it out or using the air conditioning. The window opened directly onto some buzzing machinery, probably a refrigerator compressor. There is no partition between the shower and the toilet, so when you shower, the water pours directly over the toilet.

The breakfast was simple but nice, high-quality ingredients. Part of the staff was nice. Poolside restaurant food was nice with good prices. The room had a small functioning kitchen, which was nice and well equipped.

This is a small urban hotel located in a dirty looking neighborhood and street. Not beachfront as it says in booking. It doesn't have a private beach. Although it is a 2-minute walk to the beach, but you dont feel you're close to the beach from the hotel. You dont have a sea view from anywhere, There are no coomon areas for children to run around at all. There's no beach atmosphere. They don't even have an arrangement with the closest beach for having free beach beds or umbrellas. You have to pay 10-12 euros for 2 beds each time. The pool area is small, and the pool itself is dirty (non-clear water). The room was very old looking, and it had TONS of mosquitoes all over, and we couldn't sleep well. Uncomfortable beds, dead mosquitoes graves on the walls. Bathtub was dirty and rusty.
