The Originals Boutique, Hôtel La Marébaudière, Vannes

What a great find and the online photos do not do justice to this lovely hotel. We chose this hotel as a stop-off on our European motorcycle tour, as it offered a great location and on-site parking. We were very pleasantly surprised when we arrived and were given a warm welcome and found all the staff friendly and helpful. The room was attractively furnished with adequate storage, which is important when you have bulky bike clothing and helmets. An added bonus was the outside terrace. Breakfast offered a good choice of hot and cold options both healthy and some not so. The location close to the heart of the city was perfect with everything within easy walking distance including the citadel and some excellent restaurants. We were very taken with Vannes and will definitely be back and can highly recommend this hotel.

The staff is lovely, and the breakfast is really good. The hotel has been remodeled, and everything is brand new. Fast charging station for electric vehicles.

The price for electric vehicle charging is more expensive than elsewhere. The room and bathroom are brand new, yes, but so impersonal and cold! Decoration is non-existent, except for a huge printed photo of some flowers. The light switch of the bathroom is behind the door, next to the exit of the room, totally unpractical and counter-intuitive. The dim lights can't be switched off from the bed, only the big bright ones. So you have to get up to turn the small lamp off.
