Hôtel Castell'Verde

L ensemble de la structure, la chambre, la terrasse, le petit déjeuner, la demi pension au restaurant Mobydick, nous avons adoré.

En demi-pension, nous avons trouvé les boissons trop chères, une bouteille d eau ou une bière à 8 € c est beaucoup trop.

Très belle chambe propre et confortable, environnement superbe, avec une vue magnifique sur la baie de Santa Giulia, belle plage facilement accessible!

La plage juste à côté et le déjeuner le matin ....et pas très loin du centre ville

Pendant toute la durée du séjour, la machine à café est tombé en panne ,tout les matins une file d'attente pour ce servir Prévoir une 3 machines svp et aussi nous avons fait 9 jours avec les draps de lit ???? Alors qu’un homme transpire beaucoup Merci

The interior of the hotel room was pleasant, and the bed was comfortable. The garden was beautiful and well maintained, creating a relaxing atmosphere. The pool was also clean and enjoyable. Although we did not like the coffee served at breakfast, it was great that the rooms were equipped with Nespresso machines. If you bring or buy compatible capsules, you can enjoy a much better cup of coffee. We also appreciated the friendliness of the staff at the local grocery store and the beach facilities (not part of this hotel) who were welcoming and helpful throughout our visit.

The exterior of the hotel is in need of significant renovation. It resembles a poorly maintained student dormitory, with peeling paint and damaged ceramic stairs in several places. This creates a poor first impression and does not reflect the price or rating of the hotel. Unfortunately, the hotel staff were unfriendly and inflexible. On our first day, we requested extra sheets and smaller duvets for the bed. The staff said they would take care of it the following day, but the request was never fulfilled. We felt that there was little effort to accommodate our needs, leaving us with the impression that guests were not particularly welcome. Considering that this hotel cost nearly three times as much as other hotels in the same three-star category during our round-trip journey, it was by far the most disappointing experience. The breakfast selection was limited, especially for guests who prefer a savory breakfast. It mainly consisted of sweet pastries, cornflakes, and chocolate cereal, with no vegetables or other savory options. The coffee served at breakfast was also below average. The main reason for our stay was to visit Giulia Beach (Plage de Santa Giulia). Unfortunately, the beach was covered with large amounts of black seagrass, in some places reaching approximately one meter in height. The same seagrass extended several meters into the otherwise beautiful turquoise water along the entire beach. To go swimming, you had to make your way through thick patches of seagrass, which significantly affected the experience and the otherwise stunning scenery.
