We especially liked Robert on reception who worked hard to ensure we made the most of our few days in Arezzo. The location was perfect, close to the railway station and provided ready access to the main sites.
There was some noise from a building site at the back of the hotel. But Robert was quick to offer an alternative room at the other side of the hotel that was perfect.

everything this is a great location close to everything and you haven't had fun until you have the room we had LOL Loved the shower!

The location is really great, very close to city center and also to the railway station. The staff was very nice, friendly and helpful. The building is an old one, turned into a boutique hotel. Real paintings and good quality furniture. Overall it was a good and safe stay.
The hotel entrance looks like an old residence turned hotel. The room was big, but with an the open roman bath and a separated closed toillette. The roman bath was a difficult thing to get in and out, no proper shower in that room. The small windows were also not very pleasant having no view. The breakfast was mostly sweet, I understood it is a regional thing in Tuscany. Very limited selection for a normal breakfast.

Felt like faded luxury. Wonderful bath; OK bed. Great staff; lovely receptionists.
“Boutique” - when used to describe a hotel - means mismatched, often old, furniture.
