Overall, decent hotel, but expected much better from a 5-star property. Staff was courteous overall and arranged for transportation etc.
There was an insect in the corn flakes served at breakfast. The staff was non-apologetic about it and first wanted me to prove it. When I showed the insect, they just took the bowl and nothing after that.
It is like a 4-star hotel at max in terms of the facilities, space etc.

The hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff were always plentiful and very pleasant. Always a nice touch when complementary fruit was given out around the pool, and the pool staff came around and cleaned your sun glasses everyday.
I expect higher charges for drinks around the pool, but when you can buy 1 litre of water in any local shops for 1.20 euro, and 9 euros by the pool for the same, it is far too much of a hike to accept.

The breakfast was very nice, and the staff at dinner and breakfast have been very attentive and friendly.
the hotel is somewhat well maintained, but facilities are old and worn out. We had a problem with the room layout which did not match the description in the internet, and the reception staff was unwilling to help and just offered a room upgrade for a very high price. The reception staff gave wrong information (eg water taxi departure times, however water taxi was closed for the season). Overall for me not a Relais chateau standard and way too expensive for the offering and quality.
