The lighting in our room and bathroom was a bit dim.

The flowers and courtyard were beautiful. Damien, host, was welcoming and not intrusive but helpful. Breakfast was delicious, generous, well served, hot tea and coffee, great cakes and pastries. Didn't have time for cooked breakfast but loved what we had and took some bread and cake for later...
I didn't love our lodge and I think I'd have enjoyed 5he main house more. But there was nothing wrong with the lodge, very comfortable. Except the shower and toilet was very tiny and cramped. Fine for one night as that was all we had there but for longer stay would be inadequate

Lovely owner and great Breakfast.
Hot water took a while to come through although the owner was trying to get it sorted. Not an issue though..

The entire experience exceeded expectations. We were genuinely impressed by the spacious room, the proximity to the city centre, and the excellent work of the cleaners, the room was absolutely spotless.
What truly stood out, however, was the breakfast. Fresh ingredients, exceptional scrambled eggs and lovely chat.
The host was exceptional as well; I cannot say a single negative word. This place is a must‑visit if you are planning a weekend in Wexford.
