Pięknie położony hotel z widokiem na całe Ponta do Sol i zachód słońca. Bardzo duże pokoje, pyszne śniadania z produktami lokalnymi jak dżemy, miód, dużo owoców i warzyw, smaczna kawa. Cicho i kilka kroków od centrum miasta (zjeżdża się windą ze wzgórza). Zadbany teren zielony i bardzo dobra strefa spa z widokami.

Jedyną rzecz do poprawy to zwiększenie miejsc parkingowych ponieważ brakowało wieczorami i trzeba było szukać na płatnych parkingach lub w miejscach gdzie parkują lokalesi.

Qualidade do alojamento, o excelente pequeno almoço onde se destaca a simpatia do staff e o glamour das zonas comuns do hotel.

A localização incorreta no gps já diagnósticado mas não resolvida. Ou seja, o gps indica a localização do Hotel nas traseiras numa rua de difícil acesso.

Although in the meantime the hotel is so well known & always fully booked, the staff is still amazing friendly & takes time for a small chat. What I like most is the trust they bring towards the guests, no strict rules like pool opening hours & it‘s always quiet, people do not abuse it. Also the honesty bar where it is possible to take out in trust is great! The hotel is of high quality but not new any more & for me it‘s sympathetic that it doesn’t shine & glance in luxury, it‘s still familiar, beautiful garden & peace. I love this place!

The views of the sea and the town are beautiful. As there is a lift and stairs, it is easy to walk down the Ponto da Sol. The breakfast in the morning was excellent offering a great range of food. The hotel offered transport to a selection of levada walks giving you a map of the route. They also took us to the airport free of charge as we had stayed 5 days.

The pool, although heated, was quite cool but you soon got used to it. The indoor pool was rather small.

Die sehr weitläufige Anlage hat einen grandiosen Ausblick! Die Zimmer sind wirklich sehr groß und man kann sich rundherum wohlfühlen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!

Un endroit romantique pour se relaxer. L’hôtel surplombe le village et l’océan. La piscine est magnifique, le restaurant est très bon, les chambres confortables, les massages avec le bruit des vagues apaisants… Un séjour juste parfait! Avec en prime une soirée clubbing inattendue et des plus amusantes organisée par l’hôtel!

La situation de l'hôtel, l'accueil, la disponibilité du personnel, le petit déjeuner, la piscine panoramique, la chambre avec vue sur mer. La navette gratuite pour un séjour au delà de 5 jours aéroport hôtel et retour, et , pour tous les clients, en semaine pour se rendre à Funchal.

Un peu plus de places de parkings réservées à l'hôtel. Une traduction française des informations disponibles (menus,...)

Sa situation merveilleuse, la chambre spacieuse avec une vue époustouflante et inespérée ! Gentillesse de tout le personnel !

La literie est bruyante et peu confortable surtout les oreillers vieillissants, manque d’étagère de rangement pour les vêtements, mais tout cela ne m’a pas empêché de passer un excellent séjour !

Großes modernes Zimmer. Schöner Blick über das Meer. Kleiner aber feiner Infinitypool. Frühstücksangebot reichlich und gut. Das Restaurant abends war auch qualitativ gut.

Spectacular location with ocean view. Interesting walk to waterfall from Hotel. A wonderful breakfast was included. Dinner available in the Hotel was also good. The infinity pool and bar really added a spa feeling to our stay.

Getting to it and parking is tricky— detailed instructions should be provided in advance.

Die Lage ist kaum zu übertreffen, Zimmer ansprechend, mittelgeräumig, Balkon aufs Meer hin grandios, Frühstück 1a in Geschmack und Vielfalt, Abendessen auch sehr gut. Der Pool hat den Traumausblick übers Meer, Massage gut, alles toll zum Seele baumeln lassen. Palmen und bunte Bepflanzung wunderschön. Das Hotel selbst ist ein architektonisches Meisterwerk. Wenn ich wieder nach Madeira komme, dann unbedingt wieder ins Estalagem. Die Insel ist zwar extrem vielfältig, aber doch so klein, da man muss nicht alle paar Tage das Hotel wechseln, wenn man einen Mietwagen hat. Ein atemberaubendes Romantikressort :-)

Man merkt an vielen Stellen an kleineren und größeren ästhetischen, nicht funktional wichtigen Abnutzungserscheinungen, dass das Hotel 24 Jahre alt ist und doch mal teils repariert, neu gestrichen, Fliesen repariert etc. werden müsste. Nichts wirklich Schlimmes, aber es fällt doch etwas auf.

Die Lage auf der Klippe mit diesem sensationellen Blick auf das Meer und die Berge! Der Ort Ponta do Sol ist traumhaft! Das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig, extrem frisch und lecker! Die Betten sehr bequem!

The infinity pool is incredible! Truly beautiful, and even more special when lit up at night time. The view was breathtaking. Wet and dry saunas available, and jacuzzi, free of charge. Beds made everyday and towels sorted and changed. Pool towels, robes, and slippers provided in the room. Bed was HUGE and super comfortable. Lovely big balcony and big TV. Hotel food/dinner is very posh and tasty! But like michelin style. Which is a nice treat but not for every night as it is expensive. The whole hotel is very stylish- the decor and architecture has been well thought out. Sun loungers dotted around the sunny spots, not just around the pool which is nice. Bar area and log burner was lovely in the evenings with a coffee.

The 'hot' breakfast ordered to your table was luke warm at best, often cold. The hot options very boring and very limited. Door to the shower doesn't shut and so floor gets very wet, used towels to soak the water up. Brought this up with the hotel, but they explained it is the same for all rooms. I think it was initially built as a walk in shower/wet room which didn't work so they added the doors which didn't actually help. The hotel is lovely, but needs a little TLC in some areas. Some aspects need cleaning and some attention. Jacuzzi area could be cleaner. Cracked glass could be replaced. Ponta do Sol is a beautiful village but there's not much going on, ended up having to leave the area for dinner each night as the 4 restaurants available were incredibly over priced.

Die Lage auf dem Felsen oben ist atemberaubend. Das Hotel ist versetzt und im Bauhaus-ähnlichen Stil gebaut. Ebenen sind mit 3 Aufzügen erreichbar. Unten an der Hauptstraße geht ein Aufzug zur Rezeption, sowie 2 weitere Aufzüge zu den weiteren Gebäudeteilen. Der Infinity-Pool ist schon traumhaft aber unser Highlight war die Terrasse bei der Bar über den Massage- und Saunaräumen. Hier kann man endlos aufs Meer sehen oder in den Ort Ponta do Sol. Aber auch das Restaurant mit einem reichhaltigen Frühstück oder Abendessen a la Cart mit einer Glasfassade mit Blick auf den wunderschön angelegtem Garten, auf Ponta do Sol und das Meer macht einfach nur glücklich. Wenn man vom Ozean noch nicht genug hat, kann man sich auch aufs Laufband im kleinen Fitnessraum stellen und beim Joggen aufs Meer sehen. Unser Doppelbett war riesig und wir haben sehr gut geschlafen. Das Hotel ist bei Aktivitäten behilflich und informiert. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich.

Wir möchten betonen, dass es uns absolut super gefallen hat und wir wieder kommen, aber hier ein paar Tips: Unser Zimmer war schon bissi abgewohnt aber trotzdem einfach und stilvoll. Die Dusche im Bad war nicht dicht, da die Tür nicht mehr richtig geschlossen hat. Der Parkplatz unten ist nicht sehr groß und kann leicht übersehen werden. Von hier aus führt der Aufzug zur Rezeption, daher nicht strickt in Google Maps das Hotel markieren. Sonst wird man in eine steile Sackgasse geführt. Die Zimmer sind Ansich ruhig, aber bissi hellhörig wenn die Nachbarn die Schubkästen öffnen und schließen. Auch die Duschen der benachbarten Zimmer hört man. Hat uns aber nicht gestört, man ist eh nicht oft im Zimmer. Abends, Nachts, Morgens ok. Tagsüber hört man die Kinder auf dem Spielplatz der Schule im Ort gegenüber in Ponta do Sol. Wer da empfindlich ist und absolute Ruhe möchte sollte daher besser ein Zimmer mit Meerblick nehmen, nicht zur Gartenseite. Wenn es sehr windig ist, auch Nachts pfeift der Wind sehr laut. Obwohl die Türen und Fenster dicht sind. Daher besser Ohrstöpsel mitnehmen für einen erholsamen Schlaf 🤗

Très bel hôtel, très bien entretenu, la vue est superbe, très bon restaurant Personnel agréable, mention spéciale à Ramses et son Regional poncha!

Les soirées privées du vendredi ne correspondent pas à l’ambiance de l’hôtel bien que ça ne nous ai pas dérangé et le jacuzzi est un peu vieillissant et capricieux.
