Incredible setting in the canyon. Staff all helpful and friendly, for check in and in the restaurant. Checked in early no problem. The room was large, comfortable beds, good facilities, and a view of the lake. Free wine with the room. Incredible value and a great experience. Would recommend.
Not a negative, but be prepared for the walk from the car park. Couldn't work the TV, but didn't matter because we were there for the lake and the experience.

Perfectly located in the canyon. Room was small and location is buzzling with tourists, but there is a quiet terrace upstairs with view over the canyon, which is only known by hotel guests. We got 2 bottles of wine for free, one for every night we stayed. The staff is mostly very friendly. We had dinner in the restaurant which was ok foodwise. We did a nice hike in the canyon, all the way to the cave.

The location is amazing. Breakfast is served with view on the canyon and is very good. Bed is good quality. Staff is very friendly!
The entire room needs some repairs. Our toilet didnt stop running so we had to close the water every time.handle of the closet was not fix anymore. But in the end price is also very low.

Looks to be the only place to stay on the Matka canyon and location was good right next to the river.
There are a few restaurants around but the Matka canyon restaurant is the only one rated well. The prices were high for the area (similar to UK prices for a meal) - by comparison in Skopje we had meals for £25. Also the restaurant only has one menu for lunch and dinner - it seems to be more fancy food and nothing simple like sandwiches or burgers.
