Diese hervorragenden, modernen Apartments sind gut ausgestattet und mit Fußbodenheizung ausgestattet. Insgesamt gibt es 4 Apartments, 3 Apartments haben 2 Doppelschlafzimmer (mit extra großen Doppelbetten) für 4 Personen und 1 Apartment hat 3 Doppelschlafzimmer für 6 Personen. Jede Wohnung hat 1 Badezimmer mit Toilette, Waschbecken und begehbarer Dusche (Nasszelle). Die Küchen sind komplett ausgestattet mit Geschirrspüler, Mikrowelle, Kaffeemaschine etc. Es gibt einen offenen Ess- / Wohnbereich mit einem Flachbild-Sat-TV (österreichische / deutsche / CNN-Kanäle) und einem DVD-Player. Kostenloses WLAN ist in der Wohnung ebenfalls verfügbar. Jede Wohnung verfügt über eine eigene Außenterrasse mit Gartenmöbeln im Sommer. Ein Ski- und Schuhraum mit beheizten Schuhregalen steht zur Verfügung. Bei Bedarf gibt es auch einen Fahrradkeller. Kostenlose Parkplätze stehen vor den Apartments zur Verfügung. Die Apartments befinden sich in idealer Lage, 5 Minuten mit dem Auto oder dem kostenlosen Skibus von der Hauptgondelstation entfernt, von der aus Sie bequem Ski fahren können. In der Umgebung finden Sie sowohl im Winter als auch im Sommer zahlreiche Restaurants, Bars und Aktivitäten für alle Altersgruppen.
SKIFAHREN: Scheffau liegt am Herzen der SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser Brixental, Österreichs größtem zusammenhängenden Skigebiet, das einen einfachen Zugang zu den nahe gelegenen Skigebieten Ellmau, Going, Söll und Westendorf bietet. Die Hauptgondelbahn ist ca. 5 Autominuten entfernt oder es gibt einen kostenlosen Skibus, der vor den Toren hält. Ein Ski- und Schuhverleih befindet sich an der Basis der Gondelstation. Gegen eine geringe Gebühr können Sie Ihre Ausrüstung auch über Nacht dort abstellen.

GOLF: Die Golfplätze in Österreich sind von Ende April bis November geöffnet. Sie sind im Vergleich zu ihrer bergigen Umgebung relativ flach, und ein paar Tage auf den Fairways in der alpinen Luft werden Sie sich belebt, erfrischt und gesund fühlen. Vor Ort gibt es den 9-Loch-Golfplatz 'Kaisergolf' und den 27-Loch-Golfplatz 'Wilder Kaiser' (5906 m, Par 71).

Perfect holiday in Scheffau
We had a fantastic holiday in Scheffau. The appartment and all the facilities were great. There is a lot of things to do and Suzanne and Howard are the perfect hosts. We will certainly come back.

This is our second visit to these beautiful apartments surrounded by stunning scenery. The first time ski-ing in winter which we thoroughly enjoyed so decided to return in summer and were not disappointed. This time we stayed in the 2 bedroomed apartments on the ground floor which were very spacious and spotlessly clean. They contained everything we needed for an enjoyable stay including a TV and DVD player. We had a front terrace with patio chairs/table and parasol where we enjoyed several lunches overlooking the lovely gardens and outdoor pool, which was very welcome after a day's walk in the mountains. It is just a short 5 minute walk to the gondola station where we took advantage of the discounted 5 day lift passes which were well worth the money. Stepping out of the gondola was an amazing beach bar serving food, drinks and delicious ice-creams, a great place to chill out and watch the world go by, taking in breathtaking scenery. We were amazed with the abundance of activities for children which has a different theme at the top of the interconnecting resorts of Soll, Going and Ellmau. We enjoyed a lovely lunch one day at a revolving mountain top restaurant in Soll. We hired bikes another day, following the cycle routes into the delightful town of Scheffau and over into Ellmau. We also visited the village festival in Scheffau which is apparently held every Thursday evening in summer and sampled the local cuisine, definitely worth a visit. There is a beautiful lake not too far away which we walked round and enjoyed lunch outside a lovely restaurant overlooking the lake. Just wish we'd packed our swimming gear! We also tried the local bars and restaurants in the evening which were only a short pleasant walk away and very good value. Most of our meals we ate outside as the weather was very warm and sunny. We also visited the village bakery for our croissants for breakfast. Suzanne and Howard, the owners, made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble for them. We would highly recommend these apartments in both summer and winter and will definitely be retuning.

Booking I have always been a meticulous stickler for planning and Suzanne and Howard catered for my every need from 15 months prior to the actual holiday date!!!! From the initial contact Suzanne was very quick to provide any additional information that I needed regarding accommodation options, local facilities, best airport, ski hire, restaurants and much much more!!! Reception Prior to arriving in Scheffau Suzanne had sent an information pack detailing all of the local facilities available for our arrival. Although the accommodation is typically not available to occupy until 4pm Suzanne and Howard were more than accommodating in offering to hold our baggage prior to this time. Information The information that both Suzanne and Howard provided via email (before the holiday), in the accommodation in an information pack and verbally when we arrived was perfect. It was the most comprehensive information I have ever received. Location The beautiful apartment is approximately 1km from the nearest Gondola station which also happens to be one of the most central stations in the entire ski area. There is a ski bus available which can take you to the gondola stations however we had a hire car which we used to carry the skis to the lifts and airport. Car parking was not an issue at either the accommodation or the gondola station. The only way I could describe the location of the property is ‘beautiful’. Scheffau is conveniently equidistant between Salzburg and Innsbruck. Typically the flights arrive earlier in Salzburg from Gatwick. This allowed us to arrive early and collect skis and ski passes a day early to maximise our skiing time. Property From the outset the accommodation is beautiful. It is a traditional Austrian ski lodge which looks equally warm and inviting in the sun or snow. Suzanne and Howard greeted us warmly and took us into our living room which included a fully functioning kitchen with utensils, television, DVD player and radio. We also had 3 spacious double rooms and a modern bathroom with toilet. Our first impression was that it was very homely and clean just what you need for a perfect holiday. This accommodation is perfect as are the owners Suzanne and Howard. I would have no hesitation at all in recommending this beautiful place to anyone.

We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment for our 4th skiing holiday in Scheffau. The apartment was exactly as described and finished to high standard - very comfortable and the English-speaking owner was on site and very welcoming. We had all that we needed and the underfloor heating was good to dry clothes. We would definitely recommend this for 2 couples or family. Convenient for gondola - although we used the car, a bus stopped outside which gave greater flexibility for family members. 15-20 minute walk if chose to store gear at the hire shop next to gondola (but hire shops in village probably cheaper). Ski schools are very good with lessons 10am-3pm and children can be looked after at lunch time if adults want to ski further afield. The new 8-man chairlift at the centre of the resort means that queueing is not an issue. Local Spa and petrol station stock everything needed and village bakery is a real treat. Village restaurants need to be booked but good variety especially take away pizza and good value fixed price menus. Swimming in outdoor heated pool at Ellmau and taboganning/night skiing at Soll provide evening entertainment. In the summer this is also a great area for walking plus all towns have outdoor pools and there is a local golf course and lake. Drive from Munich can be slow on change over days (allow upto 3 hours for 2 hour journey to be on the safe side) but you can then access cheaper flights and car hire. Transfer from Salzburg and Innsbruck not much better and tend to be more expensive. This part of Austria is a great area for winter or summer.
