Great location across from Lake Kowaguchiko. I had booked a traditional room and was lucky enough to have it facing Mt Fuji. Private onsen in the hotel for those that don’t wish to use the public ones also located in the hotel. Staff are all extremely hospitable

This was our treat stay while we were travelling in Japan. It is a traditional Ryokan offering half board accommodation with a lovely onsen and typical breakfast and dinner. It's a short stroll from the train station, with a stunning view of Mt Fuji from the top floor as well as lakeside location. Most staff had a good grasp of English, and were very helpful if they didn't understand or if we had questions. They also offer a private onsen option, and this worked for us as we didn't need to worry about our tattoos. We had such a relaxing time here and would come back in a heartbeat

Great location. LOVED the private onsen.
You can't really eat there without purchasing a prix fixe menu, which wasn't a great option for me as a vegetarian.
The room was VERY COLD. We froze. The bed situation was not very comfortable.

It’s fairly new compared to most of the Japanese style hotels I have been to.
The lift was a little slow, so waiting time was pretty long. However we could take the stairs. I preferred having the Japanese meal in our room, but I understand why it was done in the restaurant due to the number of courses, and the smell. All in all, there isn’t any major problem with our stay.

- Lage direkt am Kawaguchiko See

The breakfast was a spread! It comes with 6 side dishes, 1 miso soup, 1 main dish and rice. The banquet hall oversee the beautiful view of the lake.
Excellent location - easy access to many attractions around Fujikawaguchiko, ~10-15 mins drive away to most attractions. Free car parking is located directly opposite the hotel.
The hot spring isn't authentic & the public bath area is pretty small.

Wo soll ich anfangen? Die riesigen, mit Goodies gespickten Zimmer bzw. Wohnungen. Die zwei Onsen. Die Terrasse mit Fuji-Blick. Der freundliche Service. Die tolle Lage. Das Frühstück ein Erlebnis für sich. Wer authentisches Japan erleben möchte, da sollte ja mindestens eine Nacht verbringen.
Die Zimmer wirken leicht verwohnt

It was nice to stay in a traditional setting, the private onsen was lovely
Breakfast is a set menu, so maybe make the hotel aware if you have any dietary requirements. I’m vegetarian so the kitchen staff had to improvise!

Location and decent staff. May be private Onsen for an additional charge.
Long list…. shady rooms.M. Misleading pictures by booking.com. Its a dated hotel which needs refurbishment. Tiny toilets, not up to Japanese hotel standards at all. No iron in the room.. overpriced hotel

Stayed in a Japanese room with a private open air bath. It was a beautiful and large room, ideal for a couple or small family. The bed was comfortable and AC worked perfectly through the humid and hot rainy season. The open air bath was beautiful, luxurious and had a gorgeous view of the lake. I was very pleased and comfortable. I went on a weekday and was able to reserve a last minute dinner (kaiseki ryori) for the next day, which was delicious, plentiful and filling. Excellent stay, I would recommend to everyone!
Nothing. Maybe the mosquitos, but no one can help that. Haha.

Location is excellent for taking ropeway and boat, but a little bit far for waking to Kawaguchiko station. The meals are excellent, only bad of flour and oil to make the tempura. Staff are friendy and helpful.
I stayed for two days, they didn't clean up every day !

The hotel position is fantastic, near to the lake and a bike's rental. We choose the room with dinner and breakfast and they were incredible!!!The staff was very friendly and speaked a good English. We had also private onsen and it was nice but public onsen at the top floor and underground floor were superlative!!!!Of sure I recommended this fantastic hotel.🔝🔝

Location is facing the lake, within walking distance of restaurants, Rodpeway, super market n convenient store is just a few steps away. Staffs are very polite, helpful n friendly. The dinner n breakfast is exceptional delicious. We had a good time if not the raining weather. Osen hot spring is very nice also. Services is very good!
The building is slightly a bit older design but clean n well maintained. Our room cannot see the lake or Mt. View.

The hotel staff created calm and warm environment for visitors. We were shown the facilities in our room by a staff member, which was very helpful. We enjoyed the traditional Japanese experience. The room was quiet, the beds were comfortable and the shower was hot (and had great water pressure). We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel, and we had excellent meals. The onsen was great; we tried the baths on the 7th floor with views over the lake. We arrived before the 3pm check in time, and we were able to leave our bags, then the staff took our bags to the room before we came back. This hotel is highly recommended.
Next time we will plan a longer stay. One night provides only a taste of the adventures in the area.
