The place is in front of the beach, walking distance to the rock. We took a train from Alicante to Calpe, and local bus to the hotel. There is a bus stop in front of the hotel, which helped us a lot after 2 hours train ride plus 15 minutes bus ride with children. Our place had a beautiful view of the beach and the rock. The inside pool was a bonus for us visiting there in February.

I have read the review and expected the place was not a brand new apartment, so there was no surprise. The elevator in the apartment was really small and old. I think the shower hose in our room needed a new one but the room was clean and the furniture were new. What bothered us the most was the noise from a renovation of a downstairs room. From 8 to 5, there was a constant noise from the renovation. It must be temporary and as long as you stay outside during day, it should be okay!

The location, the view, the beach are really great.

The bathroom is inappropriate for the reputation of the building. The internet is constantly interrupting. All of this applies to the apartment I was in. Maybe it's better in others.

Plenty of utensils, a good kitchen, a great view of the pool, sea, and mountain.

The most important thing is that there is NO AIR CONDITIONING. While the price of the apartment is substantial, and all the apartments around here have air conditioning. The staff says it's not important - but it's important because you have to leave the windows open, meaning you can't get sleep because of the noise in the early morning and evening. You come for a holiday, but you can't get any sleep, even though you've paid over 200 euros a night! You can't expect it. How they live in August when it's +35 and hotter - I can't imagine at all. WIFI doesn't work on the balcony where you expect to spend a lot of time. The furniture is old. Very early check out and late check out. But lots of sand on the balcony - didn't even clean the balcony in 7 hours. By the way, provide guests checking-in with a code for the gates - would have been much more convenient to get your reception.

The location is very nice with possible walks in the tiny national park. The pool had a great size for my kids. The apartment was small and with basic equipment but had everything we needed.

The beach is very nice but it was so crowded that we didn’t use it during the day.
