Really great location. Nice communication with Andy and we even got to check in early which was wonderful. Loved the pool & outside area. Kitchen was fully equipped, nice to have both refrigerators & plenty of pool & bath towels. I wish there was a place to unpack though. Only one room has a dresser so the rest of us lived out of suitcases which was a pain. Also, the boat trailer parking is very tight, we had to detach it and move it by hand.

Upstairs was beautiful. Although the large frig didn’t work. The freezer did and the host has place a new smaller frig. The large industrial sized ice maker did not work outside. I phoned the host and he said it was working when he was there July 4th weekend. That was the weekend before my family stayed there. There are no ceiling fans in the house. Maybe the upstairs bedroom had one. We bought two fans for the other rooms. Which we left. There was also no coffee pot. So we bought a coffee maker and also left that there for the next guest. No fans outside. I phoned the host and he said eventually gave me the code for the combination to he shed put back so I could get a fan out for the patio. It has been extremely extra hot these days. So we really appreciated having that big fan. One major issue that we all had was that the doors to the house DO NOT LOCK. For the downstairs anyway. I would be very nervous to stay there by myself, and not have locks on the doors. Especially going back inside after a long, hot fun day. It made us nervous having our things inside of there and not being able to lock the doors. That was just wild to me. The host says that he never locks his doors. We didn’t lock our doors when we were kids either. However, times have changed. both the grills were in bad shape. The one downstairs is a flat top griddle type of thing. The property was not cleaned when we arrived with all bathrooms, bedrooms and kitchens filthy. Clearly a party group had been there the day before. We had to clean everything as the cleaner would not arrive until the next day. The host said she would comp one night for the stay but has since gone silent. VRBO said they would call us back within 24hrs and have never returned our call. We submitted photos by email as requested by VRBO and they have never responded. The whole process was a disgrace and is still not remedied. I would never recommend VRBO or this house and its host to anyone. All false promises.

Great location and very nice home however the forth bedroom is more like a closet with bunk beds in it. We enjoyed the home and the water during our stay. Had a minor issue with the AC and the owners were great and got it fixed really quickly.

Owners were very responsive to questions during our stay. Great access to both Gulf and Atlantic if you enjoy boating and fishing.

We had such a great time. Emily, the owner, was amazing and so helpful. The neighbors were great and house was beautiful. The only issue we had was backing in our boat trailer because of the angle but with some maneuvering and a few strong men they were able to disconnect it and moved it by hand into the spot. It was a perfect family vacation for my children and grandchildren and we hated to leave. We made wonderful memories.
