Is advertised as a one bedroom. Is more like a studio, Had a great time. We will be renting this again.

Excellent cottage for a short stay on Bald Head. Having the golf cart and beach chairs as part of the accommodations is wonderful.

We traveled to BHI for a kid-free getaway for a few days. This cottage was perfect for the 2 of us. Good location, golf cart included. It is not a large space, but clean and comfortable. Only suggestion would be to add a full length mirror somewhere, since the only mirror is the small one in the bathroom. If we come back just the 2 of us, we will likely stay here again!

My wife and I had a wonderful weekend staying in this charming cottage on the marina. We were easily able to access local restaurants and other amenities with the included golf cart. This was our first time at Bald Head island, and we couldn’t have had a better place from which to explore and enjoy!

My husband and I loved our two night stay at Star Cabin before the rest of our family descended on the island and chaos ensued. The cabin was perfect for our needs—clean, quiet, well-appointed and as charming as the pictures suggest. There was sufficient space for two adults. We had bins stacked around the room for the following week , but didn’t feel cramped. The bed was comfortable and we found all that we needed in the kitchen for our brief stay. The wifi and AC were working great. There was a small folding table in the closet that served multiple purposes. The views of the marina were stunning. While the Harbor Village area is one of the busiest on the island, most of the activity is down by the restaurants. We didn’t hear a peep from our neighbors and the vibe in the area was peaceful and quiet overall. There’s an occasional horn from a boat, needfully communicating with the harbor master, so if you’re a sensitive sleeper consider a sound machine. We are, but we slept very well. The golf cart was clean and comfortable. Beach chairs are showing some wear but we were grateful to have them supplied and recognize that they get a lot of use. Communication with our host, David, was timely and helpful from booking to check out. Thank you! Should we need a brief stay on the island in the future, we’ll hope to be able to return to Star Cabin.

The beach house sat on the marina on the main street. The bungalow its self was very nice, quanit and clean. Just enough for two people. The whole experience was absolutely fantastic. Exploring the island and visiting the wildlife was breathtaking. I would definitely be coming back. Thanks to the property manager who made the transition as smooth as possible.

We loved our stay here. It's a studio with a comfortable bed, kitchen, bathroom. The AC worked really well and we really enjoyed relaxing on the front porch, taking in the views and sun. Our host, David, was also excellent and very nice and accommodating. We'd 100% rent again and recommend to friends and others. Thanks for a great stay.

Quaint waterfront cottage perfect for two. It has everything you could need for a quick get away. Perfect location within walking distance to Jules, Sandpiper coffee and the Will-owisp. The golf cart was newer and an awesome feature. We drove to the beaches, trails, maritime market and others. The owner was so helpfull and very quick to respond to any questions. We will definitely be back.

Great location, great view, very clean, easy check in/out, covered porch, good golf cart. Host David was very responsive. Only down side, and a minor one, is there is only a stand up shower, no tub. We will return!

What a great location on the island and the cottage was beautiful. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching the boats going in and out of the harbor. Would definitely go again!

This property was exactly as shown and described. It was a perfect spot for a weekend getaway! The location of the property on the island was close to the ferry and restaurants and yet was very quiet. The property had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The golf cart was an added benefit and made it easy to travel to the other restaurants and to explore the island. The property owner did a great job in communicating with us about our stay. We will definitely come again!!

The trip was exactly what was needed, time away to relax and recharge. The host made it a wonderful experience from beginning to end. The property was in excellent condition and the perfect location. I highly recommend not only the property but the host for any future trips!

Location was great, short walking distance to Jules. Which we visited a few times and met some very nice people. Golf cart rides were nice to ride around island and get coffee at midway and a bite to eat at jailhouse. The views from this rental are awesome. David was a great host and very responsive. We will most definitely be back. Highly recommend this this stay for a couples get away. Has all you need to offer for 2. Bald head is a beautiful island.

This was the perfect place for a short weekend getaway for my friend's wedding. Right on the water, central to the bars and restaurants and had all the little amenities needed covered, with a golf cart! Would highly recommend.

I'll start by saying that David was easily the best host we've ever had at any rental. He really went above and beyond for us on our stay, and we will certainly rent with him again. The rental was super clean and perfectly cozy. Having the marina harbor as your backyard and as the view when you wake up is extraordinary. Also we were able to simply walk to the rental from the ferry terminal and didn't have to deal with getting a tram - super convenient. The golf cart that is included was in good shape and not having to rent one was definitely an added benefit. I would highly recommend David's rental if you're looking for a quick and cozy get away!

We came in for a wedding weekend that was impacted by Hurricane Ian. When we finally made it, David was there to help us get to the house so that we would make the wedding on time. His place is just lovely- on the marina with all that you need as a couple for the weekend. We enjoyed the island with the golfcart and ate dinner right next door at Jules! I cannot say enough about David and his place! Wonderful!

We had a wonderful time at the Star Cottage. It's perfect for an adult getaway. David was great! Check-in and out was easy, and David was available if we were to need anything. We would definitely stay here again.

David was very responsive and helpful during our stay! We had a wonderful view of the marina, the cottage was clean, comfortable and the kitchenette was well appointed to do some light cooking. We sat for hours on the porch (dreaming about living on the island of course). My husband and I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend to others. Until next time Bald Head....
