Incredibly smooth check in. Themis is a fantasic host and immediately greeted us as our taxi pulled up, helping us with our luggage. The room was very spacious, modern bathroom with a decent shower and a small balcony overlooking the marina, the air conditioning also worked well. As noted in other reviews, complimentary breakfast was provided each morning which was a lovely surprise and meant our stay really was fantastic value! It was a feast of a breakfast too and was served at a realistic time so we didn't have to wake up early to take advantage of it. Bear in mind this is not officially included within the booking so might be a seasonal thing. The location is great, pretty much in the heart of Agia Efimia with a supermarket and other shops/bars/restaurants a short stroll down the promenade and of course the wonderful Poseidon restaurant directly beneath you. For transport, Poseidon also hire out cars (although we didn't take advantage of this), there's a boat rental company (yellow boats) very close too. We also found several small pebble beaches nearby with crystal clear water where you can take a dip.

There is a port/jetty in the marina very close to Poseidon Apartments which is being used (possibly temporarily) as a yard to store large boulders - the kind used to build sea barriers. We were woken up quite early on Saturday morning by a crane loading some of these boulders onto trucks. It didn't last too long though.

We can wholeheartedly recommend Poseidon Apartements. in a fantastic location overlooking harbour and bay, the sea view apartment we stayed in was modern, clean, and had a fantastic balcony. a massive thank you to Agis and Themis who were fantastic- super friendly and professional. we also rented a car from Poseidon Apartments- very reliable and modern cars. if you’re thinking about staying here- don’t hesitate - book it!! breakfast in the morning was brilliant and their onsite restaurant is a great choice for evening meal as well! We’ll deffo stay again- thanks Poseidon- love Luke and Abby

This accomodation is a perfect package! Beautiful view from the balcony, wonderful breakfast free of charge, the owner rented us a car for a really good price and plus, the owner has got a great restaurant right below the appartments with the best boiled mussels and taramasalata in the entire Kefalonia! I totally recommend.

The host was really amazing! So friendly, would serve us breakfast every morning even though it wasn't part of the offer I'd booked initially and had some great recommendations. The room itself was nice and big with a nice balcony overlooking the sea. Location is great as there are lots of nice cafes/restaurants within walking distance.

When we checked-in the bathroom hadn't been cleaned properly but after telling the host this he immediately arranged for the cleaner to come and re-clean it while we went out for a stroll.

Very centrally located to visit points of interest on the island. The breakfast was very tasty and diverse each day. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Would also recommend the restaurant, had one of our nicest meals during our holidays there. Easy public parking right next to the hotel. The room was very spacious and had everything we needed. Really liked the air con, since we were able to turn it on at night without it freezing us (night mode).

Nothing that we didnt like, everything was great. As a point of improvement, towels can be changed a bit more frequently and there was no hand washing soap when we came, so this can be added.

The hospitality of these guys is amazing! They provide you all you need for a perfect stay in Kefalonia. They have excellent bedrooms, an amazing restaurant and they rent cars too. All with very fair prices. I completely recommend them to everyone visiting the paradisiac island of Kefalonia.

If you want to get the most out of your vacation, we advise you to stay at the Poseidon Hotel. Where you have everything you need for a full-fledged stay: a clean room, a comfortable bed, a delicious and hearty breakfast that was never repeated during our stay, the cleanest sea is literally across the road with a cozy small beach, a lot of restaurants to choose from, although we most often dined at Themis' restaurant, the owner of this charming hotel. I would very much like to convey all the feelings and emotions that we experienced while living in this beautiful, cozy, homely hotel. We would like to thank these sunny people from the bottom of our hearts and, if possible, return to this fairy tale for an even longer period. Thank you Themis and your family

Great location, owner was incredibly friendly and the food in the restaurant was of a high standard. Breakfast was large and set us up for the whole day and it was for the most part suitable for vegetarians.

The curtains are quite light so it was quite hard to sleep past sunrise.

Apartment was well maintained and spotless. Traditional family business above their small popular taverna. Not noisy at all though as set back. We were in the lower building. Breakfast was served in taverna which was good. Great value for money, especially given the breathtaking harbour view across the quiet road from the balcony.

Fantastic stay with great staff! Excellent breakfast and lovely coffee ... awesome beach across the road and very close to everything. The Poseidon restaurant is also fantastic. Will definitely stay again!

I couldn't stay longer!

We enjoyed our stay here. Thermistocles and his team were really friendly and helped make us feel welcome. The apartment was of a decent size and had a nice sea view with a balcony. The bathroom was big, and there was a walk-in shower with great water pressure and hot water. We got something different for breakfast each day, which was served to us and they catered well for vegetarians. At this time of year, there was plenty of parking outside the apartments, either directly across or up the road.

The decor could do with modernisation but it was comfortable and well-equipped (although we didn't cook so can't comment on kitchen facilities).

We had a wonderful stay at Poseidon, Themis and his staff were brilliant nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be going back!

Great location with spaceous rooms and also a terrace. Parking is easy just on the street or in the close harbor parking. We had a great view onto the harbor. Staff was ecxeptionally nice, food in the fish taverna below was also very good. There was also a small kitchenette in the room, if one wanted to prepare food for oneself. There was also a small extra bed (90 cm) for potential children or simply a third person. All in all our stay at Poseidon was great, great value.

Great location. Excellent view from the third floor apartments. Staff was extremely friendly. They also have very good restaurant with variety of seafood dishes. Huge portions at moderate prices. A+
