The mountain view was so nice. The apartment is fully equipped and you can feel comfortable like at your own home.

The size was ok and it had a balcony that looked out over the park which was nice.

The bed was appealing in fact broken and the pillows were horrible. The check in procedure was very difficult and there was a bad smoke smell in the room from allowing people to smoke on the balcony. The bathroom was tiny with the toilet behind the door. I would not recommend this property as the price was also way too high for the poor standard of the apartment.

the location was fabulous, very central to everything with fantastic views. fabulous to watch hang gliders and paraglides come down. we were lucky enough to be on the balcony for the fireworks for Swiss day, never seen such a fantastic display all the better for being on the balcony, we would even see them at Harder Klum and the laser show. very spacious apartment, ample for two people lovely big fridge, good air conditioning (bathroom a bit cramped but it was ok). everything we needed for self catering was available, very efficient door entry and lift. It’s a very nice large building with lots of apartments but it was very quiet, people respected the need for quiet for everyone. We chatted in the lift with Hungarians, Italians, Poles, Swiss, South African. all nice people, it’s a very friendly place. Rory convenient for food shops nearby. The Wi-Fi was excellent. we have been travelling through Europe for six weeks and this was the best Wi-Fi we have had. there is parking across the road, however it’s very expensive, much better to go to the council office or on line and get a ticket for $25 for the week the. you can park in loads of designated spaces for free (they give you a map) these are all within 10 mins walking. (I did get a ticket because the Swiss Police misread my registration plate which has a number 1 they read it for an I - a quick visit to the council / police got it sorted so I didn’t have to pay the fine). situated centrally between West and OST stations, everything easily accessible to tour the extended area.

we have stayed in 20 different places over the past six weeks, only two of them used remote check in via Watsap, this was one of them. at both there was confusion which doesn’t set the stay off well. maybe I am old fashioned but I prefer a human to a message which can be misinterpreted, particularly with language differences. if there had been person to person check in it would have been much smoother. when we first entered the apartment there is a strong smell of tobacco and although the apartment is non smoking we could tell that someone has smoked very heavily in there. we bought an air freshener plug in which did resolve the smell along with keeping the balcony door open. it’s a pity and not the fault of the owner because it clearly says no smoking in there but past visitors have obviously ignored this. it seems ingrained in the furniture. having said this and being non smokers it wouldn’t put us off returning to the apartment.

Central location with easy public parking. Spacious apartment with a well equipped kitchen.

Cleaning quality was not good. The dishwasher was full of dirty dishes when we arrived. The kitchen splash-back and kitchen cabinets had oil drops all over them. The cabinet handles were oily to touch. We had to clean them ourselves. Microwave and kettle were dirty. Host didn’t provide shampoo and shower gel. This is the only accommodation we had in Europe that had a BYO policy for shampoo and shower gel.

Great view and great location.

Very scared building and the bed and also the pillows are poor. The dust are everywhere.

Would highly recommend this accommodation, and would happily stay here again

Could have had additional pillow options other than the one each for the bed.

The location is perfect, few minutes away from Interlaken west station. The view is amazing. The key keeper, Karoline, is so helpful, kind and nice.

The furnitures were not clean and so much dust everywhere.
