The house was great, but the pool was amazing. There was lots of room for all of us (10). Grocery store was very close and the kitchen was fully stocked with all the cooking utensils, pots, pans and so on that we needed so we never had to eat our. Joy and Jeff responded very quickly to any questions we had. It was a great vacation home base, thank you.

Week in LaMirada
The house was great, but the pool was amazing. There was lots of room for all of us (10). Joy was a pleasure to deal with and answered all my questions. The location is close to the I-5, which can get you pretty much anywhere in southern California in an hour or less; Beach, Disneyland, and LA (with no traffic). The kitchen was well stocked and we didn't have to buy spices or condiments. Everything was great!!! Can't wait to go back! I would definitely stay here again!!! 🤩

Joy took us in when another VRBO property was pulled from under me and my famiy the day before my daughter's wedding! She was great about understanding our situation. I told her about the bridesmaids staying over night and getting ready with a hair dresser and makeup artist and a pool party a couple days later with some extended family. We all had private spaces for sleeping and public places for hanging out! Her house was stocked with EVERYTHING you'd want! The pool and patio set is a wonderful place to while away a sunny afternoon! Thanks so much for a great stay, Joy!!

This house house had everything we could need! We really enjoyed our stay and had a great experience. The pool is awesome and we spent many afternoons lounging there. TV’s in every room were a plus. The pool and backyard area was perfect for our group with plenty of privacy, space and lounge chairs. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Our family had a great stay at La Mirada. Joy was very helpful even before we arrived. She answered all of our questions and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we would need for our stay. She accommodated an early check in and met us at the house to walk through everything. The pool was great with life jackets and pool toys available for the kids. This was a very family oriented and kid friendly house which was perfect for us. The neighbourhood was very nice with a lovely park and a playground we walked to and there was a golf course close by. The nearby shopping centre was very convenient to grab groceries and a coffee at Starbucks. Joy also gave us great suggestions for sights and beach drives. We would stay here again!

We had a wonderful time in California for our family vacation! The pool is awesome! Comfy beds and a great space to hang out and spend time playing games and relaxing together! Very nice neighborhood with great park in walking distance. Easy to travel all around LA area.

Great stay at La Mirada
Our family had a great stay at La Mirada. Joy was very helpful even before we arrived. There are several outside sitting areas to enjoy various times of day. The interior of the house is a mixture of modern and classic with room for 10 people comfortably. Great little home away from home
My husband and I took our 5 kids on spring break vacation . We had a great time. Pretty central to everything (we did Disneyland & Universal. Enough room for all 7 of us and the kids had fun in the pool. Had everything we needed. And Joy & Jeff were responsive, helpful and friendly.

Great vacation home!
We took our kids and grand kids with us, so there were 7 of us. We all really enjoyed the outdoors where we barbecued in the evening, and the pool, which is really nice and deep. Everything that the kids needed for swimming, was provided.
The kitchen is adequate and is well equipped, with everything one would need for prepping food, and cooking. The house, overall is spacious, everybody had their own space, with TV's in every room and wifi. The master opened towards the pool and the little patio was enclosed (and so was the one outside the living room), providing a nice safety feature for small kids.
The kids had hoppers for Disneyland, and the location is in near proximity to the parks. You can hear the fireworks, at night. There is also a beautiful park, not far from the house, for long walks, and it also has exercise equipment. A gym outdoors!
I wish it were a bit more updated, but some of the old features throughout the house were charming.
All in all, a great experience!

Perfect family retreat!
This was the perfect house for our families to come together for a vacation. It had everything we needed to be our home away from home. It was so easy to get to and from Disneyland. And it was very nice to have a private pool right out the back door to keep the kids entertained while the adults relaxed under the umbrellas or lounged in the sun. The owners are like your fairy godmother, if you had a question or needed help with something, all we had to do was text them and it was taken care of immediately! I definitely recommend this home for a quick getaway or a long vacation.

Clean, well stocked home and close to Disney...
This home is well situated and close to grocery and general shopping (Wallmart, Costco, Ross Less for Dress, etc.) and only 20 minutes from Disneyland. Joy and Jeff were very accommodating and the house was stocked with lots of bedding, towels, dishes, cooking stuff, etc. for 11 of us. The weather was a bit cold so we did not use the pool but the backyard is set up to accomodate large group gatherings.

Comfortable with good location
Was a pleasure staying here and interacting with Joy. We had a great time and my parents enjoyed their first time renting a house vs a hotel/motel. The house had all the comforts of home and was nice for relaxing after a full day at the parks. Big living room with lots of seating, bedrooms were comfortable with lots of sleeping room. Thanks Joy for everything and I will be sure to look you up again if we travel your way!

Great home, Perfect location
This home is very well maintained, it is older as other visitors have stated but it's been very well kept up, the kitchen is beautiful, the pool is fun and the home is Very comfortable the owners were very sweet and accommodating us. The house is close to Disney and not that far from
other attractions. We had a great time. Hope to stay again
