Woodborough Inn

Comfortable room. Good food. Free parking.

No other pubs or restaurants in the village for evenings.

Room 5 is large with big windows facing the front of the inn. Shower room en-suite is also sizeable with a window to the side. A huge comfortable bed made for a very good sleep. We were not disturbed by any noise from the inn. Breakfast consisted of a choice of cereals, juices and a lovely cooked option. The smashed avocado and poached eggs were perfect. Parking was plentiful and free. All staff were friendly and cared about their customers. The inn is right on the doorstep of some beautiful walks. I would love to stay again.

The Inn is very well located, walking distance to the Strawberry Line. The Pub downstairs is great, food is excellent, everyone is nice. There is fish&chips place right across the street, a Coop nearby, lots of lovely places in the vicinity.

Welcoming staff and decent rooms. Typical pub menu was good, breakfast ok except for under cooked poached eggs.

We asked for a quiet room. Our room was fine but being on the front corner there was a lot of traffic noise early in the morning. Bed had a winter quilt- too much in the summer.
