This is a beautiful hotel, honestly can't fault it for our needs. It's spotlessly clean, fresh towels and beds made every day. The beds are super comfortable. Monsoon shower is refreshing for a day at the beach. I personally would say it's not catered for children but it was perfect for me and my partner who wanted a break without kids. It's very quiet, very relaxed. Staff are friendly. The reception area smells amazing I forgot to ask what they use to make it smell so good 😊. The spa is to a high standard. We only ate breakfast there but it was really nice with lots of choice.

For us the area of Sant tomas is boring. Very little option with food unless you like fish. We were lucky enough to have a car I wouldn't like to attempt to spend a week in Sant tomas. Small expensive shops. We drove out every day and night. I kinda wish you could pick this hotel up and move it to a better location but at the same time it is what gives it it's laid back charm. The hotel did allow us to smoke on the terrace balcony provided it didn't bother others which I didn't agree with. It's an open space and it's my choice to smoke just as much as it others choice not too. Flies and wasp would attack you constantly while around the pool area if you have food or drink. I would suggest some fly killers to be put up around the outdoor food area.
