Situated within woods, this beautiful cottage is cosy, homely and has everything you need for a relaxing comfortable stay

There is some noise from nearby dual carriageway but this cannot be heard from inside the cottage

Comfortable

Nothing

A lovely location, familiar, quiet, cozy and full equiped! We had a wunderful stay

We liked the quiet location and thought the property was going to be quite a nice stay for us.

We didn't like the fact that on our second day we got back to the cottage late afternoon and it was an icebox. We tried everything to get the heaters to work but nothing. We reached out to the property contact and after a few hours of back and forth communications (about 6:30-7pm) we were told that the heating and hot water couldn't be fixed and we'd have to find alternate accommodation. We felt quite abandoned by the owners and received zero assistance in finding an alternate and similar accommodation. The weather was atrocious and to find something that late in Stonehaven was really difficult. It turned out to be one of our worst days of our 3 month holiday. I would like to note that we were given a full refund for that second day.
