The seating in the den and kitchen table were wonderful. We could all sit comfortably which is important when you are all adults. The fire pit was our favorite hangout! The owners were easy to communicate with and the home was clean. Comfortable mattresses!

We were in town for my daughters wedding. This place was perfect for our stay. Plenty of room. Plenty of parking. The carport is big enough for two pick up trucks. 20 minutes from Walmart 7 min to the grocery store. The house was clean. The dock was perfect for swimming and fishing. The dock has two slips. One big enough for my pontoon. The deer walked out of the woods into the yard as we sat and watched. Doe with twins. With in a few min of being there we were welcomed by the neighbors from their dock. Fantastic folks for sure. If we make it back down this way I would stay here again for sure. Check out promptly at 11 for sure though. We were out with about a min to spare and at 11 the cleaning crew showed up. Which I thought was fantastic. How many times have you been to a place and wondered if it had been cleaned. No worries we met the crew and they were super nice as well.

Good location. House has two queen beds a bed bed and some pullouts. Stocked with everything you need. Older house and dock. Very close to water with easy access… very few steps. Owner very responsive and helpful.

Clean and roomy. Had everything we needed for our stay. Neighbors are friendly and were sociable, in a good way! Loved the swim dock and the boat slips suited our boat and waverunners. Wish we could have stayed longer! We will definitely be returning to this location. Only downside was the water pressure in the master shower. The main bathroom shower was fine.

Everything about this property was amazing. House was great. It was roomy, had all the amenities we needed, it was very clean. We loved that there were no steps down to the water, and it is not far from the boat ramp at all if you are bringing a boat. Probably my favorite house we have stayed at on the lake so far.

The property met our expectations from the description and was a great place to relax and unplug. The neighbors are friendly and it was peaceful sitting on the deck and enjoying the lake views. The home was very comfortable and had everything you need. I would highly recommend, especially for the price point.

This is our second stay at this particular spot - it's an awesome spot on the lake - right by Duncan bridge which makes the entire lake accessible by boat. The kids had a ton of fun off the the dock one day when our boat was in need of repair. I would suggest to fix the lights on the dock, they were not operating during our visit and the visit before. We had a lot of fun, will be back.

This place is perfect! We had the most relaxing time in this comfy home! It had everything we needed for cooking!! The beds and the recliners were very comfortable. The back deck was quiet & peaceful with the most amazing views. We’ll be back!!!!

Our extended family always gathers at a lake rental for a few days around New Years. We all enjoy our time together playing games, watching movies and eating good food. It also gives our children a chance to have time with their cousins like we did as kids growing up. We have made some great memories! Sleepy Hollow Cottage was the perfect home to continue our tradition. The home was clean and cozy! Plenty of seating in the living room, sunroom, and dining room. It was a very easy walk to the boat dock. No steep hills or tons of stairs. We will definitely be renting this home again and I would recommend it.

We loved the view of the water. Easy access without walking down lots of stairs. Loved the balcony view. It was a great place to have coffee and relax in the mornings. The sunroom was great for breakfast. Not far from stores and places to eat and shop. It’s just simply the best access to everything. Would love to visit in the summer. We came Veterans Day weekend.

We came into town for a wedding and this was a great place to relax before and after the ceremony. It is in a remote area so not easily accessible from the interstate. The lake and property were well worth the adventure of the drive.

Setting was excellent, cottage was outdated but cozy. Water pressure in tub and shower were extremely slow/low. Beds were worn and soft. Overall stay was enjoyable

We really enjoyed the time on smith lake in this house, neighbors was very nice. Fishing in the morning and late evening, Has a boat dock to park boat under and a dock with a ladder to take a swim. We are ready to come back already.

The location was amazing! Easy to get to from the road, and to the main channel and marina by water. The home was much more spacious than I had anticipated. Great open layout for the family to stay connected. I’ve stayed at many rental properties, and I can definitely say this home had the most comfortable beds ever! We discussed them daily. :) The boat house was very nice and we felt extremely safe leaving our personal water crafts in there. Beautiful views, prompt communication with the owners, nice neighbors, perfect location and great home. Kids have already said thats where they want to stay on our next trip.

We had a great time in this home on Smith Lake. Everything was well represented in the ad. The house had everything we needed and more. I counted at least 14 EXTRA pillows! Now that’s being prepared! The A/C worked well and was super cool—important to us for a July visit!
The dock was what we needed for our boat and we enjoyed hours of swimming. All communication was prompt and helpful. If we ever visit Smith Lake again (we probably will—it’s so beautiful!), we would definitely stay in this home again!

First time at Smith Lake
We had a wonderful first time experience at Smith Lake! The house was perfect for our family, and conveniently located near Duncan Bridge Marina. We enjoyed playing cards in the sunroom, sitting by the fire pit, grilling out, and enjoying the lake. Fun memories were made with our two teenagers.

Beautiful location - Everything you needed for your stay but the kitchen cabinets dirty, washed everything in dishwasher before using and used them direct from the dishwasher - lots of the cabinets were filled with junk - property had lots of broken and discarded items in the yard - yard not mowed - overall painting needed for property, inside and outside. We would not rent again!

Beautiful and Restful spot on the water
My husband and four children and I had a wonderful time at this lake house! Best parts about this rental is the proximity to the water and the sun porch. The water is so close and the sunporch was our favorite place to hang out when not on the water. I admit, as other reviews, that the kitchen is in need of a reno, but I don't go to the lake to cook a gourmet meal. I brought things to put in the oven and we mostly spent time enjoying the water activities. Therefore the kitchen was no problem for us. The house was very clean. My husband and I agreed that we would very much like to return to this place.
