Pleasant View Ella

Padmasri and family made this an incredibly memorable homestay with their hospitality and care. They were very welcoming and served up delicious, sumptuous breakfasts everyday. The homestay is well equipped with wifi, good view, and a fan. Our kids had lot of fun interacting with the hosts. Great value for money overall The homestay is a bit far from the town and would need a 1000LKR tuktuk ride, which the hosts arrange promptly. Storage space is a bit less but that is to be expected with the beds.

We had a wonderful stay in Ella. Although the accommodation is not very close to the town center, it is easy to reach by bus or tuk-tuk. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and very clean. The terrace is a lovely place to enjoy breakfast or simply relax with friends while taking in the peaceful surroundings. The accommodation occupies a dedicated floor of a local family's home, which made the experience feel authentic and welcoming. The family was incredibly kind and helpful, giving us great recommendations on the best places to visit and the easiest ways to get there. Breakfast was generous and varied, with different local dishes served each day, allowing us to try a wide range of Sri Lankan cuisine. We also had dinner at the accommodation, and it was absolutely delicious. The lady of the house is an excellent chef. We highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a warm, authentic, and relaxing experience in Ella.

We had a great stay in Ella, away from the bustle of the town centre, but with a couple of nice restaurants nearby. The family operating the homestay are very welcoming. Communication was great and dinner and breakfast were amazing (everyday there was something new/different). The family room is on the small side, but the terrace with hillside views does make up for that.

With 4 (2 adults, 2 children), the family room is on the smaller side.

Great view, lovely hosts, great breakfast & excellent to hike from for Ella Rock or walking down the hill to the city centre.
