Not on ski slope but a 2 min drive. So you cannot park on property and walk with ski gears to the ski slope.

This stay was a nightmare right from the start. The key code given to us by Vacasa did not work, and it took forever for them to get back to us with one that is working. We were struggling with it on that cold wet night after an evening of skiing with our kid. The parking space was open for the entire community, it was not marked for the home, if you are lucky you will get a parking spot. The property was very old with many tiny little decor pieces with probably the owner's personal pieces collecting dust. I don't recommend it for small kids. The house definitely needs an upgrade. But they should at least provide a clean space for rental. The toilets were old, stained and broken, peeling toilet seat. I had to wipe down the dining table chairs before we could use. The bed linen was torn, the sinking noisy bed and mattress, dusty furniture. the old bed was uncomfortable, so when I tried to use the pullout couch/bed I regretted it - rubbish not cleaned with dead bugs. The patio was unusable since it was dirty and filled with dried leaves and cobwebs. We could tell there was a rushed clean up before we checked in, but this property needs much more than that. The space is compacted with musty dust, cobwebs. We selected this stay looking forward to a granny homely cozy stay. Warning- asthma/allergy trigger. bugs, dirty, mildew, spiders, cobwebs everywhere. 2 nights -$573, and a lot of documents to be signed for this experience. When addressed Vacasa just had "sorry that the stay did not meet your expectations"...

accommodations perfect for boarding excursion; walking distance to slopes, no surprises; as advertised - great location - easy drive to everything. we had no extreme weather; could see travel being challenging if heavy snow - would need front wheel drive minimum if experienced snow driver.

water odor - assumed well; used purified water for cooking/drinking - likely not necessary, but did as precaution.

Great Value, Beautiful View, Clean, Well Managed

I liked the lay out of the the place and the gas logs , and the view , also that it had 2 bathrooms and WiFi and a tv in every bedroom.

That it was cloudy and Rainy the whole time.

It was a quiet and quaint little property. Had the necessities for our stay. WiFi was good. Our property manager was very quick to respond if we contacted him .

Overall the cleanliness could have been better. Had a leak in the ceiling of the master bathroom and it hadn’t been addressed. There was already mildew and mold visible. This property is older and no upgrades have been made. Needs a good deep clean as it has a musty odor that, in my opinion is just from the age of the property.

The location was perfect. We loved being so close to the slopes and having the view of the snow off the balcony. I would definitely stay in this area again. However, would search for a unit that is more up to date and cleaner.

As someone mentioned in another review there were cobwebs all over the rooms. There was heavy dust on the shelving. We also found that none of the dishes were actually clean and had to clean them all before use, good thing we travel with our own cleaners and paper goods. We also wiped down all surfaces including the bathrooms when we first went in, mainly bc we were not convinced they actually used a cleaning company between renters, but also as a covid precaution. Lastly (and I didn't see this as a problem for other guests) the hot water only lasted 1/2 of one shower and we were all dirty and sweaty from the slopes so good thing we were only there two nights bc that would have gotten gross. We called maintenance and they texted back but never came despite multiple texts again.

The location to sugar mountain was very convenient. The views from the back of the unit were wonderful. We enjoyed the fireplace.

We killed several bugs. The rugs in the bedrooms were extremely old and dirty. The bedding was very old. Cob webs in the master bedroom. We were rationing toilet paper on our last night. The toilet in the master bedroom, especially, did not flush well. We had to wash towels continuously for our showers. The garbage bags were thin and broke easily & there was no way to tie them. The master mattress was very uncomfortable. Kitchen utensils, can opener especially was rusty, could be better. Overall, very pricey for what we got.

Nice location Very comfortable clean, cozy and inviting. Enjoyed the fireplace and the beautiful view. Would love to book again.

Got lost had to call customer service GPS location took us to an entirely different location. Thank goodness we called customer service was excellent. Stayed on the phone with us till we arrived.
