Great location, we loved the neighborhood. Having the parking included was amazing. We’ve stayed in Honolulu and have always payed $20 to $30 a day for parking. Easy access to everything from restaurants to grocery stores.
Mike was amazing. He was extremely responsive and answered all of our questions. Thanks so much!! We’ll be back!

Mike, the owner, responds quickly and he is very helpful.
Pros:
1) Location is everything. Condo is conveniently located to beach, shopping, dining, and entertainment etc.
2) Kitchen is well equipped and thoughtfully laid. It had everything I needed for my stay.
3) I took the public bus, which was easy; the bus stop is less than one block from the condo.
4) Most excursions will pick you up from Waikiki Banyan, which is convenient for sight seeing
5) The kitchen is updated, and cleaning supplies are left so you don't have to buy that.
Cons:
Upon my arrival, the lock box holding the key fell off right after I accessed it. Not a safe feeling knowing access is not secured.
Upon entering the unit, the sliding patio door was left wide open. The patio door does not close. The latch is too short to reach the lock and the latch is flimsy. This condo is on the 36th floor, had it been on a lower floor, I would have an issue with safety.
The condo is clean and smelled fresh, but the rug is old, worn and stained. It needs to be replaced.
The bathroom sink has very little water pressure. I could not wash my hands or wash the make off my face properly. The Shower has good water pressure (Yeah)
The washer/dryer are not in the unit; it is located a short distance from the condo and is coin or app operated. There is one washer and one dryer on each floor.
The pool area is nice but again needs updating. This is good Condo, but it is not a luxury condo as advertised in the description.

The property is located very close to the beach but not so close you have to deal with all the headaches of traffic.
Beautiful views of mountain side and diamond head.
Host was very responsive and had provided detailed instructions to make sure everything was comfortable and smooth.

We really enjoyed our stay at the condo. The location was perfect. It was clean, cozy and had all the amenities you could need. We loved having all the beach gear. The view from the lanai was beautiful. I only wish we could have stayed longer!

This little apartment was fantastic. The view was lovely - I ended up working from the patio quite a bit. The bed was super comfortable and there were plenty of pillows and extra blankets. My partner got a cold so I actually ended up sleeping on the pull-out sofa for a couple of nights, and with the mattress topper that was comfortable too! Due to said cold, we spent most of our time in the apartment =( but at least it was a great apartment to be in. The property manager was super communicative and all the instructions at the beginning made everything crystal clear. Having a free parking spot is such a bonus in Honolulu. There were many restaurants within walking distance, so we never had to drive out for dinner. Really the only thing that wasn't in walking distance was a good grocery store. The air conditioner works great - it creates condensation water rather quickly which the pigeons and other birds love. Honolulu pigeons are much cuter than LA pigeons. Overall if I come back to Honolulu I will look to stay at this place first. I spent the first half of my trip at one of those massive village resort monstrosities for a conference which was awful. This apartment was such a nice reprieve from the chaos of that.

Communication with Mike was great before and during our stay. Wonderful view. Condo had everything we needed and bunch of other amenities we didn't end up using. Comfy beds and a good sized bathroom. Great location within walking distance of the beach, restaurants and shopping. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

The owner/ host of this flat is very kind and easy to work with. We ended up staying a few more days than planned and he quickly responded and accommodated us. He left detailed instructions for check in/ check out process. The flat has everything you need to make your stay comfortable & homey. He had umbrellas, mats, beach towels, 2 beach chairs and a few boards & snorkeling gear avail to use so not having to rent anything was a huge $ saver!
Location was perfect for beach access to Waikiki beaches (1.5 blocks, about 5 min walk). Our favorite was Queens Beach.
At first when we arrived it was a bit over whelming to park and familiarize ourselves with local dining and shopping but after a day we realized we had lots of options; walking distance away or by public transit or trolleys. Zippys & Leonards are about 1 mile away walking distance which was easy. Food trucks are everywhere so that was fun & less taxing than to try to eat at chain restaurants or busier local known places.
We will definitely be staying here again in the future!

This property is beyond amazing. Mike was available if we had questions. The location can’t be beat close to everything. 0.3 miles to Waikiki beach, Honolulu zoo was close as was Diamond Head. Safe walking in all directions. Units supplied with anything and everything you could possibly need including beach chairs, umbrellas, snorkeling gear, beach toys and boogie boards. Mike thought of everything for our comfort. Parking was an added plus. We will definitely stay here again. Did I mention the view.

We spent a week in Hawaii and this place was everything we needed to enjoy our stay in Hawaii. Loved the room and it had the best view! My fiancé, my mom and I really enjoyed our stay and hope to return soon. Mike is very responsive and very helpful with information and communicates very well if we have any problems or concerns. The location of this condo was perfect! Short walk to the beach, shopping and food. The views were breathtaking. Whether it was day or night, there were mountain, ocean, canal and city views. The condo was clean and fresh. The kitchen amenities allow you the opportunity to serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. This condo gives you a feeling of being at home in paradise. My husband and i stayed a week at this location. Wonderfully situated where most places are easy to walk to or take a quick Lyft ride. Property was clean and exactly as described. The bed was very comfortable and the shower had good water pressure. Quiet with an amazing view day and night. We loved that mike had beach chairs and umbrella to use at the beach (renting an umbrella on waikiki was like $30.00!!!)
Our place was very close to the laundry room, making washing easy. Unfortunately we didn't get to use the pool or sauna as the were both having maintenance done. But both were located on the 6th floor and area was very well kept. I loved the small cafe and market on the first floor. Mike consistently stayed in contact with us and even provided some great places to eat. I would definitely stay here again the next time I come back!!

This was our first time on Oahu. This condo was the perfect place for us to explore the island! Parking is an issue on the island, so what a huge bonus it was to be within walking distance of Waikiki Beach! There were beach chairs, beach towels, and an umbrella for us too. We rented a car, so the free parking spot was invaluable. The condo is clean, and has everything you need. It’s comfortable and super convenient to everything in Waikiki. Mike gave us some great tips for things to do and see, which we followed and had wonderful experiences. He was easy to reach and quick to respond. Oh, and did I mention the views? They did not disappoint. The mountains are beautiful during the day and the lights are spectacular at night. We highly recommend!

This is a beautiful property with an awesome view, just a few minutes walk from the beach, shopping, and dining, with easy access to the highway, making exploring the whole island easy! Mike was a wonderful host from check-in to check-out and made sure everything was taken care of. The condo was the perfect home away from home, with a comfortable bed, TV with all your favorite streaming services, and even the basic kitchen necessities! If you are looking for a great place to stay on Oahu, this is it!

We loved this place! My wife and I normally stay on North Shore when we visit Oahu but we decided to change it up this time. We stayed at the Mountain Retreat for week and loved it. The unit is very well designed with an updated kitchen and bathroom. It has a comfortable and relaxing ambiance. In fact, when we first walked in, my wife said (her actual words), “It feels like home”. The view was looking north towards the mountains overlooking the golf course and driving range. When it got dark, the mountain side was alive with light. There is an air conditioner but the weather was so pleasant that we kept the windows and lanai door open most of the time we were in the unit. The faint clink of golf balls being hit at the driving range was fun to hear while we sat on the lanai in the evenings. It was a quick 4-minute walk to beach a block away and there were numerous shops and restaurants within a reasonable walking distance. Mike provides a parking permit with the unit so parking in the hotel garage is include with the rental price.
Mike was very responsive with information and directions about getting, entering the unit, checking in and out, and some of his recommendations of places to visit and eat. He called the day after we arrived to make sure everything in the unit was good. When we come back to Oahu, we will definitely be staying here again. It was 5 stars all around!

Ideal place for families to stay.
This condo was offered at a reasonable price, was very clean and in excellent condition, was well supplied with linens, beach items, kitchen utensils and appliances, was close to the beach, shopping, and many attractions, had a beautiful view of the mountains, and had parking included in the daily rate. It was an excellent deal!

Very Nice
This unit was perfect, everything was as described and well apportioned, great view and high enough off of the street to weed out some of the city noises. The only reason for the 4stars on check-in was the slight miscommunication about the key code which delayed entry, but Mike fixed it and he was very nice. I would definitely recommend this unit

This was my second time at the Waikiki Banyan, and, going forward, I wouldn’t stay anywhere else. The location is perfect—away from the congestion of central Waikiki, free parking and easy driving access to the freeway, walking distance to loads of wonderful local restaurants, AND ONE BLOCK TO THE BEST BEACH IN WAIKKI!! The condo is nicely furnished and very comfortable (only small drawback being an overly thick foam pad on the king bed, making getting in quite a climb and changing positions a bit of a challenge). Overall it was very pleasant. The property owner was very accommodating and good communication. Nice short walk to the beach and shopping on the Waikiki strip. Very nice there’s was some snorkelling equipment and beach stuff for our use.

Mike was attentive and always available in case of questions. Renovated kitchen and bath however kitchen counter was a bit dirty (lots of food stuck on counter). Sofa bed not too comfortable. Carpet should be replaced. Plenty of dishes, beach supplies, and cleaning supplies in suite. Parking is a plus!

Mountain Retreat on Oahu
Honestly, I had some bad luck with a vacation rental and a property manager who canceled on me, with no explanation and reposted the property for a higher price. Months later, along came Mike, the host of this property. His words when I described what happened to me, "I treat those who stay at my property the same way I wish to be treated". Well, it was TOP NOTCH!
The property has everything you need, in a perfect location very close to the beach. Pack your towel and you are there in a few minutes. Clean and well maintained condo. For being a larger complex, it is surprising very quiet and peaceful. We spent many nights on the patio/deck, looking over the mountains and lights over Oahu. It was truly beautiful.
It is my plan to travel extensively when I retired. This property host restored my faith in vacation rentals by owner. Thank you for stopping by to check on us, we so enjoyed your place!

The condo was beautiful and in an excellent location. Right when we walked in, we saw breathtaking views of Diamondhead. And at night, when we returned from a day at the beach, we were met with a really nice sparkle of lights coming from the houses on the mountains. We were only one block away from Waikiki beach which made it so simple to seize the day. International Marketplace Mall and world renown shopping were also only about a ten minute walk away. The free parking was really great because we had a car that we used to travel to the other parts of the island.
The unit came nicely stocked with basic needs like toilet paper, plenty of towels, extra linens, and kitchen necessities. It was also very clean and you could tell the owner took great care in maintaining the space. The king sized bed was extremely comfortable and we got great rest. There was also a sofabed pullout available for use. I was impressed with the attention to the small but thoughtful details like an essential oils diffuser as well as some essential oils to diffuse.
We were already so happy with the unit but then we met the host and could understand why we got such good vibes from the place. Mike has such a warm and welcoming spirit that makes you feel right at home. He was never more than one text away and made sure we had everything we needed to be comfortable.
