Everything about this hotel was excellent from the moment we saw the property to the welcome on walking in, the room, breakfast....everything. A truly historic and memorable place to visit and stay at.

Beautiful property. Nice, large, quiet rooms. Great amenities. Delicious dinner and breakfast.
After a week walking the Camino and staying in sub-par lodging, this was refreshing!
Pool closed right when we arrived at 7pm. It was still very warm and we wanted to take a swim before dinner.
Rude French guest gave my husband grief when he moved a chair at breakfast.

Good breakfast, the hotel is in a renovated abbey, stall was pleasant
Difficult parking, they have only 2 parking spots for the whole hotel........

The historic part of the hotel is kinda nice. Breakfast was pretty good, including the staff on duty. Spa experience also positive. Certainly nothing wrong with the location.
The whole place is a bit weird to be honest. A strange mix of museum and much less charming (if not depressing) sleeping wing. The courtyard could do with a bit of love and more than three tables. Less museum and more cosy-factor would be nice. The bar, whilst tended by a perfectly nice guy, isn't a place I'd stick around for several drinks. Could be a lot better with only modest investment and effort. Bathroom doors might be an idea.
