Hotel Arcangelo

Die Lage der Unterkunft und die schöne Dachterrasse. Wir hatten zwei Superior Zimmer in der 3. Etage. Diese waren modern eingerichtet und renoviert. Es gibt nur eine bzw. zwei Kleiderstangen und sonst wenig Ablage für Kleidung, was uns nicht gestört hat. Das Zimmer wurde täglich wunderbar gereinigt!

Das Frühstück war teilweise etwas chaotisch mit wenig freien sauberen Tischen und das Buffet manchmal wenig bestückt, aber es war viel los und das Personal hat ihr bestes gegeben. Im Badezimmer gab es keine Handtuchhalter (nur in einem der beiden gebuchten Zimmer).

We had an amazing stay at Hotel Archangelo! The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. They were always happy to answer questions and gave us great recommendations for local restaurants and places to visit, which we really appreciated. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and we always had everything we needed. The location was especially convenient for sightseeing. It was only about a 10-minute walk to the Vatican, and most of the other major attractions, including the Trevi Fountain and Colosseum, were around a 20–30 minute walk away. We loved being able to walk to so many places while still staying in an area that wasn’t overly crowded or chaotic. Overall, we had a wonderful experience at Hotel Archangelo. The friendly staff, clean room, and convenient location made it a great place to stay, and we would definitely recommend it!

Although only a short distance from the train station the journey was long due to the traffic so it was lovely to be greeted so warmly by the host. I was given refreshment while I checked in and they helped me by giving me a map and showing me where the best places are to eat. The room was small but perfectly adequate for my needs. I like the decor and the building itself was beautiful. The price was competitive given that I was in Rome and was in walking distance of most points of interest or a scooter ride away. Vatican city is only a few streets away and I like the area and its vibe

The location was excellent, just a few minutes’ walk from the Vatican. The staff were polite, and I noticed that some of the other rooms looked much nicer than the one I stayed in.

Don't rely only on the glowing reviews when choosing this hotel. I booked it for two nights because of them, but it was a very disappointing experience. My single room was extremely dusty. The fabric-covered walls seemed to have absorbed years of dust, and the large wooden mirror frame looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a very long time. The only fan in the room, which was necessary because of the heat, simply circulated the dust. Fortunately, I had allergy medication with me. The mattress was also very uncomfortable. I woke up with severe back pain after just one night. Breakfast was basic but acceptable, with a reasonable selection. However, the cleanliness of the dishes was not. There were fingerprints on the cutlery, lipstick marks on the glasses, and stains on several plates. I understand that everyone has different standards, but for me this level of cleanliness is unacceptable.
