Legen Sie die Koffer im Trockeneingang ab, während Sie Ihren Urlaub mit einem kurzen Spaziergang zum Strand beginnen oder noch besser in den erfrischenden privaten Pool eintauchen. Treten Sie ein und Sie werden das Spielzimmer finden, in dem Sie unterhaltsame Indoor-Aktivitäten wie Fußball, einen kombinierten Pool / Pokertisch, einen Fernseher und eine Wet Bar mit vollem Kühlschrank und Mikrowelle finden. In der Nähe befindet sich ein Schlafzimmer mit 2 Einzelbetten, das einen einfachen Zugang zum Vollbad bietet. Auf der mittleren Ebene kann jeder bequem in einem von 3 Hauptschlafzimmern schlafen (2 haben Könige und 1 hat 2 Etagenbetten). There were 6 of us (3 couples) all in our mid 50’s - 60’s. The home was very welcoming and comfortable. Lots of deck space for each level. The only fall back was a lack of an elevator. There are 39 steps from the ground level to the top floor where the kitchen, living room and one of the king suites is. It was very tiring getting the food etc up the 39 steps. A few in our group have knee issues and had a hard time with the steps.
We suggest to put an elevator on one of the entrances.

The house was very nice and accommodated our family perfectly. We appreciated that all 5 bedrooms have a dedicated bathroom and that the kitchen was well stocked for a family that loves to cook. Comfortable beds sitting places, and lots of deck space. The beach is a short walk and felt almost private as it was not at all crowded. We couldn't get the ice maker to work and someone showed up the next business day to set things right. We had a great week!

This house was big and very nice. Kitchen was extremally well equipped for a large group, nicely decorated, and views of both the ocean and sound from the top floor. Only real house complaint was that it got warm on the second floor but stayed cool on the top floor. One of the bedrooms got really hot at night and you couldn't adjust the air temperature below 70.
However, I wouldn't recommend the company that manages the property. Towels and sheets were not provided, which I found very odd. We rent a vacation house every year (not necessary in OBX) and have never seen that, so I was annoyed at the extra huge cost of renting these items from the realty company since we didn't have room to bring them. To be fair, it was pre advertised. It took them a day and a half after we called to remove a dead bird that was on the porch on our arrival which was gross. We had to book on the realty website after VRBO and pay an extra fee for not booking with them directly. A large deposit was not mentioned in the original listing.
Also, one morning while eating breakfast a random realtor came to the door and asked to show the house! We were NOT told she would be there and we weren't dressed or anything yet. The realtor and her clients seemed pretty upset when I told them they couldn't come inside. It was awkward.
Lots of nice houses in the OBX. I would pick one that wasn't run by Surf or Sound.
