Could have been more maintained, blinds were missing pieces so wasn't able to close them all the way so was a privacyissue, table leg was falling off only had one screw out of 4. Only had 3 chairs so we had to constantly bring in the outdoor plastic chair for our family of 4. Couldn't beat the location though. Just needed a little TLC.

I spent the weekend in this property along with my 15-yr old daughters and a niece. The biggest issues I had were inaccurate description of the property, lack of parking spots and very loud guests. The location is definitely the main plus but that was about it. The property is in urgent need of a deep clean/upgrade. The door separating the units was really bad because we could hear everything the next door neighbor was doing including a meltdown at 2:30 am. Guests were extremely loud and disrespectful, partying until 2 am. A large group was playing loud music on the beach and then they moved to the pool at night. They left lots of trash on the beach and even the locals were taking pictures in the morning. I was hoping a quiet weekend getaway but unfortunately it didn’t happen. The description says that chairs and umbrellas were provided but there were none. Why indicate something that you know it is not available. Parking was also a nightmare. After waiting 40 min for someone to move their vehicle so I could park I was afraid to leave the property and run into the same issue again. I reported the parking issue with the property manager and although they responded, the problem persisted. Sofa bed was very uncomfortable and dirty. We were given only 1 beach towel per person for the entire weekend. Blind didn’t fully closed, tv remote had no batteries. Quite honestly this was my worst experience with vrbo.

Property staff were great and limited interaction with other guests was also great. Unit needs some maintenance--burnt out lights, missing window shadw slats resulting in minimal privacy, but it didn't bother us much. WOrst issue was paper thin walls--we could hear every word the neighbors said, knew what they were eating, and knew what was happening on all the TV shows they watched. And they weren't being particularly loud--just doing what normal people do. Weather was cold and thus we couldn't use the beach or pool, so didn't get value for the beachfront price we paid, but that's not their fault. For the price we paid, I'd go back if I knew the weather would be better and we were planning to hang around the beach/pool rather than explore the region. Probably bad planning on my part.

The office staff were terrific. Explained everything well and took time to show us the location of the condo. Property was well maintained and easy to get around. Room was as described. Very clean and furnished nicely. Good view from the Lanai of the pool area and the ocean. The pool was very nice. Clean and warm. Not very busy while we were there so no crowds to deal with at the pool. We were just steps from the beach. The beach was very nice and there were several beach chairs to use from the resort. So many good places to eat or places to shop within minutes away. The only things that I wish were better were the parking area can be full and tight sometimes and the washer/dryers are outside under the 2nd floor walkway. I was very pleased overall and definitely would return.

We had a nice spur of the moment stay at Silver Sands #255. Although the furnishings were a bit dated and worn, the unit was
Clean and comfortable. We did have a few issues with AC and fridge, but the management was very helpful and immediately had someone up there to check it out. We loved the beach front convenience, heated pool, screened balcony and complimentary beach chairs and umbrellas. Kitchen was nicely stocked for cooking. We loved the smallness of the place— lots of privacy and super quiet!

Very Pleased overall with this property. Check In was easy and staff was very polite and helpful. The grounds were well kept and the pool was clean with great seating. The room was clean and was perfect for the 2 of us. Comfortable bed and nice seating area and could see the ocean and pool from the Lanai. The parking can be tight if there are several vehicles in the lot. The washer and dryer for the complex is outside but under roof.

It was fine; I’m just a bit spoiled. An older property but well maintained. Bed was comfortable. LR TV very small. Unusable closet stuffed with bulk. Tiny bathroom, light bulb missing, no batteries in remote, plastic upright chairs for lanai. But great location on the island. Good front desk customer service.

We have been staying at SS for the last 15yrs, usually requesting unit 251, but have stayed in different units. This time the only unit available was 255: the sleeper sofa is horrible it needs new mattress or sofa itself need to be changed; doors in the bathtub are hard to open/close and are worn out; my choice would be more lighting in the bathroom and a mirror in the bedroom next to closet where you can blow dry hair in case bathrm is occupied. We could hear the TV from unit 255A, to the point husband had to knock on the connecting door so they could lower the volume, at 3:00am. Also, on the first night, the TV in unit 255A was on and no one was staying in, reported to the attendant. The ceiling fan in the living rm is falling apart. It would be nice if housekeeping would go at least once during 4-5 day stay, the way it used to be. Balcony gets really sandy. We love the location of SS, but needs lots of improvements as it looking its age....

Working from home… Remotely. This place was perfect the Wi-Fi was strong, and in between meetings I dunked in the ocean. The staff was super nice when I checked in and the cleaning help is very nice when I left

It's a great condo location on the beach. There's enough cooking equipment plus outdoor gas grills to prepare fresh fish dinner bought straight off the boat about 15 minutes away. Watching the sunset from the beach right outside was wonderful.

Very nice unit in a quiet location. The only negative was the housekeeping. The rental included daily service. I had to continually remind the desk during our ten day stay. We only received service five of the ten days. Everyone was polite and I would still recommend staying at Silver Sands.

We rented unit #255 over the MLK weekend for a short getaway which is only the 2nd floor of the orange building of Silver Sands property. From reservation to checkin , the process was seamless. I received emails with confirmation and checkin process plus Ryan from the management property left me a message as well regarding where to pickup my keys should I arrive after office hours (which I did). I picked up my keys in the "After Hours" mailbox at the office with great instructions but had to stop in the office the next morning to sign a form plus give details of my car. Ryan who was in the office (the same Ryan who left me a voicemail the day before) was very professional and courteous.
The unit is cozy, adorable and clean. Not too dated, well maintained (so is the entire property) and does not musty or old. Bed is comfortable and there were plenty of towels. We did not require any housekeeping as we were there for only two nights. Just a few steps away from the beach.
The property is driving distance to St Armand's circle and some great restaurants. We will be back at this property.

We did not require any housekeeping as we were there for only two nights. Just a few steps away from the beach.The property is driving distance to St Armand's circle and some great restaurants. We will be back at this property.

Perfect location for us
We were looking for a nice beach getaway and this one didn’t disappoint. Super clean. Loved that beach chairs were provided and the beach wasn’t crowded at all. Also enjoyed the heated pool. We will be back. Only down side is the bed was extra firm. We will bring a mattress topper next time.
