Hotel Arcangelo - Salina

It’s a very nice hotel, although the older style rooms are showing their age - dark furniture, an unusual two piece front door to the room. Despite that, the rooms are very comfortable and well maintained, there is a beautiful swimming pool, and the garden is lovely, so the whole place feels like an oasis in the middle of the town. Breakfast each day was excellent - lots of choice, and everything fresh and tasty. One of the nicest things about the hotel is the staff - everyone we met was lovely, always friendly and helpful, they really made us feel welcome. It’s in a good location, just a couple of minutes walk and you are on the main street through the middle of the town, close to shops and restaurants.

The steep path to the hotel was awkward with luggage (although the town is on the side of a steep volcanic island, so it’s to be expected) but otherwise there was nothing we didn’t like.

We loved our stay here. From the gorgeous views, comfortable beds, hammocks outside the rooms, ample seating area, stunning pool, wonderful breakfast, cats, and friendly staff- we could not have had a better time! Highly recommend spending an afternoon poolside and having an aperitivo, it was one of our favorite memories! The hotel is a short walk into the town, and restaurants and shops are nearby.

The location was great, amazing views and large balcony/courtyard area to relax in. The staff were exceptional - very friendly and helpful.

the pool was great and it was very clean. the breakfast and coffee wa also good

the rooms need updating. they are quite dark and need modernising
