Прекрасные, добрые и отзывчивые хозяева отеля! Хорошие завтраки, по запросу могут приготовить ланкийский. Очень-очень чисто, красивая ухоженная территория! Большие номера. Есть все, что нужно для комфортного отдыха.

Единственный минус - это близость железной дороги, но поезда ходят не так часто. К звуку поезда быстро привыкаешь.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Tamara Motels, and it was an unforgettable experience. The luxurious accommodations, coupled with exceptional service, made my stay truly memorable. The hotel’s prime location made exploring the city a breeze, and I can’t wait to return to Tamara Motels on my next visit. Highly recommended!

Without doubt one of the favorite hotels I stayed during my time in Sri Lanka! Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the receptionist and we booked a twin bed room and we were upgraded to the Junior Suite Room. The staff was extremely friendly, the restaurant very flexible (appreciate this!) and We had two great evenings here, specially we need to mention in the restaurant there is a nice art. Even we never see those things before. It is amazing and lovely. Those things obviously also added up to the experience. Devindi and Nipun are such a warm personality and highly motivated guide (recommendable!). The scenery of the hotel was beautiful and it was a relieve to walk in such a quiet and peaceful environment. Note, this is such a nice place, and the atmosphere is so special that it really felt like home to me. And the railway tracks behind the property and that sound is bearable it’s not big a problem for to see the beautiful of that nature. All respect for the receptionist and the staff who does a great job here; a true sample of excellent hospitality!

the place is quiet but everything is very near, many restaurants and shops. the room is very comfortable and big. the patio of the room is cool. the staff is helpful and kind.

Bit of a smelly room, but nothing that big. Keep in mind this is right next to the train track! You’ll get up at night for sure.

we‘ve had an amazing stay at Tamara Motel: the Junior Suite is super comfortable, spacious, well equipped, has a besutiful bathroom and a great seaview-terrace. It was very clean, the breakfast was fantastic, the garden is super nice and Devindi & team are extremly helpful. we fully recommend Tamara Motel!

I had such a lovely stay at Tamara Motels. Devindi and her family are warm and friendly hosts, and nothing was too much trouble. Communication with them was great right from the start. The room itself was fantastic, absolutely huge, comfy beds, gorgeous bathroom and the biggest balconies! The whole place is spotlessly clean, and the location is perfect!

The only slight downside is the railway line that runs directly behind the property, which is quite loud, but nothing a pair of earplugs can’t solve (available from reception)
