Ray, the owner was very responsive which was appreciated.
The house is a little older and smelt very musty when we first arrived, opened doors helped remove the smell.
There were many spider webs, some very long, hanging from the exposed beams and many spiders. We did not find any insect spray. Used a broom to remove these from all of the bedrooms.
Although it had been cleaned we felt the place needed extra. The vacuum cleaner had rotting leaves??? or seaweed left in it. We cleaned this once we realised the issue- because of the smell!!!!
There was no soap in either of the bathrooms and only one spare toilet roll in each of the toilets- there were five of us for five days and no shops near to the house. A drive to Busselton to replenish these items.
On the positives the view was amazing and the glassed in room on the beach side of the house was wonderfully warm when the sun was out.
The fire kept us warm however five females, none of whom have fires at home, and a blunt axe made getting the fire going and staying lit a challenge that we all managed with considerable effort.
The kitchen had an amazing view over the ocean and had a variety of items that made cooking easy.
We felt that the house was so much cleaner when we left than when we had arrived.
I am not sure we would book here again.

Have been staying at this property for over 20 years! The most beautiful scenery! The house is older, a little tired but not too precious - like us! The house is equipped with everything you need & more. What we love about Seaview is you can relax & enjoy your stay without the stress. This is a true "Holiday"House. We will be back!

Keen to avoid the more tourist-heavy areas, and have a beautiful beach all to yourself ? This place is that. But if you want high-end amenities and marble tiles, keep looking.

property is old and tired, needs a lot of work, my partner fixed the master shower because the hot water tap kept falling off, we also had to replace the antana cable at the back of TV, spiderwebs everywhere outside, carpet's desperately need a clean BUT the view from the balcony made all the issues go away

Excellent location with great ocean views but be prepared to pay $$ per person extra money on top of total booking fees to hire linens which is not advised on Stayz App but would be told by the owner after booking made, Otherwise may end up sleep with no linens.

View was fantastic and all amenities as specified.
Would be a great help if the stairs had a rail to hold onto, as they are were in my opinion quite steep. Also floors were dirty and needed cleaning, dirty on arrival. But otherwise very scenic and peaceful stay. Thankyou.

We were surprised at how beautiful the area is. The property allowed us ocean views from the main bedroom, kitchen and dining area. Was very peaceful and relaxing stay. Enjoyed sitting on the balcony at night watching the stars and listening to the ocean.

Property was clean, well appointed. Is a short walk to the beach access path. Is a little tired and could benefit with a makeover especially compared to other houses at this location in this price point. Fantastic that our four legged friend could holiday with us, that is a huge plus and the beach has dog friendly areas and the remainder is dog on a lead area. Overall a great location for kids and to be able to bring your pet is awesome.

The location and views were stunning and the house was very clean, unfortunately the rest of the house does not feel at the level expected for the price paid and needs some updates or a price drop. During a storm the house leaked water onto the kitchen bench overnight where my expensive phone was charging, it damaged its speaker badly, and in the lounge water from the roof which soaked one of our bags in a puddle overnight. The house has no fans including no kitchen extractor fan for cooking or bathroom or toilet fans, the kitchen stove is outdated is the 1970s kitchen and lounge outfit. There is no heating, or air-conditioning in any room except for the loungeroom fire which does not help the far rooms so the kids room was very cold.
Although I booked a 4 bedroom house only 2 rooms were accessible, others locked.
Although we only had 1 child I found it strange and it made it feel as though I'd only booked a 2 bedroom house.
We did enjoy our stay and I would go again if it were more accurately priced or was updated but it just doesn't have a feel that matches the price tag

Absolutely loved this stay. Wonderful views overlooking the ocean. Perfect for ready access to the beach. We all loved taking the paddle boards in. Dolphins swam really close to us on our paddle boards. Our dog loved the walks along the dog friendly beaches. Beautiful birds. Would love to come again.

I have read reviews of customers whom were not happy ♀️ If your looking for a holiday where you can look out of the bathroom, toilet, kitchen, family room windows, balcony and see nothing but the ocean, have a little sand on your feet when you return from the perfect beach and walk inside, have a bbq at sunset with nothing to obstruct your view, then this believe me is the place for you. If you are looking for 5 star resort accommodation with all the mod cons look elsewhere. At least here you have the total attention of each other, your children and your grandchildren. Oh did I mention you can take your beloved dog. You wont regret your stay we never have.
