Goreme Cave Rooms&Pool

Breakfast was brilliant. Cereal, boiled eggs, cheese, breakfast sausage/luncheon meat, tomatoes, olives. I was well fed at the start of each day. When I left early before breakfast I was given a half loaf sandwich to keep me going. Room 208 had a great shower. My balloon flight was arranged through Goreme Rooms and was brilliant. Staff were very helpful. Excellent views of balloons from the terrace.Make sure you stay more than two nights. Some folks missed out on balloon flights as there was poor weather for two days. This spot is right in the middle of Goreme so you have an easy walk to many wonderful places to eat and you can walk to the Goreme Open Air Museum. If you like hiking it a good base to walk the Rose Trail, Green trail, and up to Uchisar Castle along either Love Valley or Pigeon Valley from here.

Lighting in room could benefit by adding a reading light you could switch off from the bed. It is not the fault of Goreme Rooms but the roof of the restaurant next door is used for breaks by their staff so they can look into room 208 if you do not keep the curtains drawn. With many people going off to see balloons it can be noisy at 05.45 onwards. Make the most of that and get up too and see the wondrous sight of tens of balloons.

Room was nice with a big table and comfortable chair to work. Wifi works well. Breakfast was a nice buffet. Staff was nice and helpful. Location was great and also rooftop.

Shower needs some improvements. Our room was next to the pool and there was music from 1-11pm not great to wake up early for the balloons. Gym has an auto switch off light because it was not a proper room just on the way to the pool, so not very nice to use it

The hostel is situated in the center of Goreme - easily accessible to restaurants, cafes, tour agencies, key attractions.

The hotel and room are basic and old. The staff were not too helpful nor friendly but they would reply when you ask. The breakfast was pathetic.
