the location is amazing, the staff helpful and friendly, lovely pool (although we mostly stayed by the beach) and the beach club facility just amazing. we love Holbox!

breakfast was good ...could have had fresh pancakes rather than pre-prepared, and tasty coffee, to make even better but we were happy with it. the yogurt, fruit and fruit juice were all much appreciated

Really nice hotel with an amazing outdoor area. We liked pool area, breakfast were good and tasty. Quiet location, the beach is just nearby. Many thanks to the helpful staff, especially Emilio, who gave us a lot of info about how to enjoy properly this amazing island!

All in all, a bit overpriced place far from town centre. Bathroom was ruining our stay here, pipes were stinking all the time.

The outside areas of this resort are exotic, beautiful and quiet. The hotel is located 20min away from the center if you walk on the beach. Otherwise, if you go by road it is a longer and less comfortable trip to the main area of Holbox. If you're looking for a relaxing stay, without a big fuss, this is the place to be.

The bathrooms, as well as the kitchen, could use a lot more cleaning. These amenities looked dated and not properly maintained. Considering how beautiful the resort is on the outside I believe it should be important to keep it at the same standards on the inside as well.

the support and the people working there. they gave good advice, fixed a taxi to Valladolid for us and when our airconditioning was leaking, they fixed it immediately. We would go back to Ensueno Holbox & Beach Club and appreciated the stay here.

First of all: this is the most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed in. Everything was just perfect; the view from the room, the look of the hotel, the employees, the whole vibe! We had room 12 and this was just really a winner. My biggest compliments really go to the staff (I don't know their names, but it's a girl from Ukraine and a boy with a Barcelona shirt), they were super friendly, always cheerful, very willing to help and their English was spot on. For example, they researched things for us about different tours, we received a lot of tips about restaurants and fun activities on the island and we could just chat with them. The distance to the center is also easy to do; 12 minutes walk. Further pluses were the air conditioning that cools well and is easy to set, the soft beds, the breakfast that was fine and the fridge that cools really well. Furthermore, the bed was changed every day and the towels changed if necessary. In addition, the swimming pool is ideal for relaxing and there is a beach club (Carolinda) at the end of the street where you can use free beds (because of staying at the hotel) and receive a 15% discount on food and drinks (which really good quality and that in combination with the good service of the enthusiastic employees). Points for improvement are the WiFi range and the shower could be a bit more modern (but the way it is now really fits with the rest of the hotel). Now I almost forget to say that our request to come and leave a day later was granted without any problems. We had a delay with our flight and therefore could not catch the boat in time to get to the island, so we would miss the first night. So the hotel moved the first night to the next day at our request and in the end we were able to stay there for 3 days as planned. According to us, the rating for this stay is a 10 (unfortunately you can't go higher).

Lovely hotel with very nice staff. Cozy atmosphere. It is placed a bit far away from the town centre, but that only means that it is more quiet, and the beach is much nicer.

We love the hotel and services, would be nice if they have a small restaurant with basic food for snacks during the day

The front desk manager Emilio was EXCEPTIONAL and although we were very happy withthe hotel, Emilio made the stay exceptional. His impeccable service and attention was higher than many places we have stayed not only in Mexico, but anywhere. Holbox has a lot of challenges with muddy roadways, intermittent power and water - which create really difficult circumstances for the staff who work on the island. We had room #13 and it was quite special with its own access, nice views and privacy. The location was fanastic and it was a delightful 15 min walk into the main town - but far enough away to be quiet. I highly recommend the property and all of the staff are working hard for guest comfort.

I was happy with everything. The things we did not enjoy were not connected to the hotel stay.
