Staff were amazing, friendly and all together great. The room was clean and so was the bathroom. There was a side entrance from the bar you could use to enter and exit freely. It was very close to city centre and we equivelently paid 12.50 each a night!
The bed was uncomfortable however we really did over look this as we could and will bring a mattress topper with us next year and we still wouldn't pay a fraction of the cost for a different hotel in such a close location to the city centre

The staff were very friendly and welcoming on arrival, in the evening and for breakfast.
The breakfast was delicious and very good value for money. Lots of choice too.
The room was very comfortable and clean. Basic, but certainly met my needs.
I didn't dislike anything. It did what I expected for a low priced accommodation and did it in a very friendly way.

Warm, inviting and everyone was kind and friendly
Being woken up at 630am as there was a lot of noise outside my room (inside noise not outside)

Staff was lovely, food was great and the price was unmatchable. Getting to walk out of the room straight to a pub was a great experience!
We expected our room to suit our needs: to have somewhere to sleep and shower during our stay. We accomplished this, but having mold in the bathroom and no working ventilation at all meant the room was like a tropic after a shower. The staff kitchen also had a fire alarm low on battery for the whole stay (which beeped 24/7). When I raised the issue of the non-working ventilation to the barstaff, we were told there's nothing they could do. We didn't raise this issue higher up since it was a short stay.
