We chose to bring our 3 adult children/spouses and grandchild to Maui to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. Due to flight changes we needed to find a condo for 2 additional nights before our other one was available. The Chacón’s were excellent hosts. As stvr hosts ourselves we can have high expectations but we’re highly impressed. Pre arrival instructions were clear and concise. Arriving late at night was seamless. The condo was well equipped and comfortable. When we had requests or questions they were attentive and accommodating. Beach access and amenities are nearby and walkable. It was an excellent experience and we will be back.

It was a 11 out of 10 stay! Spare food. Toys. Water toys. Bath toys. Everything and then some more ! Beach chairs. spf. They thought of everything. Thank you!

My family and I stayed in this unit for 12 nights and we were very comfortable here. The unit itself is an absolute gem. It’s has two bedrooms and two bathrooms and is updated throughout. Brand new shower ( which was amazing) and brand new central air. We found with the central air that we only really needed to use it at night time just to cool off after being in the sun because there is such a good airflow between the front door and the back door patio. this unit is fully stocked with anything and everything you can possibly think that you were going to need. The closet was fully stocked with beach towels, boogie boards, beach chairs, coolers, bags for the beach, pool noodles, and there was shampoo/conditioner/sunscreen/after sun cream. The bathrooms had everything needed for our stay and was fully stocked with toilet paper and bathroom spray and peroxide. ( which we ended up needing) The second bedroom had everything one would need if you had little ones. We didn’t have any reason for those items but we saw that there was toys, books, and other items that can occupy a little one. We saw extra blow up mattress too. The living room was super cozy and we all fit very comfortably, our son slept on the couch. I believe it’s a pull out but he said it was comfortable as is. There was washer, dryer and soap which helped us since we stayed for so many nights. The kitchen was fully stocked and even had a pineapple core tool which made it easy to eat the pineapples. Love ❤️

During the first day of my stay, I faced an unexpected inconvenience: no running water. My attempts to reach an emergency contact went unanswered initially, but I did receive a response the following day. The owner's advice was to turn on the water from a closet, which I wish I had known earlier. The reason for this water disruption was due to the cleaning staff shutting it off because of a bathroom leak, a detail I had not been forewarned about. Having to manually turn off the water at night to avoid continuous running was an inconvenience. The owner did apologize and explained their inability to promptly fix the issue due to a labor shortage on the island. Adding to the frustration, the pool was unavailable due to ongoing renovations. While this information was mentioned in the amenities section, it would have been more transparent if it had been included in the initial description. I believe there should be greater clarity regarding the pool's status. Despite these two setbacks, the condo was, clean and equipped with a functional kitchen.

We were in Maui to put my father in law to rest. He was born and raised in Lahaina Maui. As my in laws lost their hoe and moved to California with us. We needed a place to stay as all the relatives also lost their homes. Upon arrival we noticed the pool was under construction. Was never told. According to the property owner "we are never told by HOA when this was happening" Then the main fan and light in living room was not working. Was told "oh use the fan in the closet" Well not enough light in the main room. Then the water in the main bathroom in the shower would NOT stop or shut off. Ran ALL NIGHT and day. Upon calling the owner again was told "just turn it" We the handle comes off in your hand. Sent a video to them. Them we went to put some items on top of the refrigerator and only to find inches of dust. I sent a video of this. After four days the handyman comes to change the fan and says " i was contacted about this over a week ago but was busy so they knew about it. He tells us the faucet for the bathroom is in the closet and waiting for the plumber. So they also know about that not working. I took a photo of the faucet in the closet. Then to add to this, we had other family come into town staying in the same complex and one paid $60 a day less then we did and were were staying longer. The other paid $100 less a day then we did. Ironically they both were told about the pool AND were sent flowers in sympathy for the loss! If the items did not happen AND if some empathy

Truly appreciated such a wonderful place to stay to make our 25th anniversary so memorable. It fit my family of 5 (kids—12,16,19) so comfortably and had everything we needed to function as if we were at home. Walking down to the beach daily made it feel like we lived there. The beach gear that was available was convenient. Host was attentive and helpful when we had questions. It wasn’t our first time in Maui. But it definitely was a stay we won’t forget. Mahalo!

Home away from home in the true sense! Amazing attention to details with many amenities available- beach chairs, sun tan lotions, shampoo, conditioner and condiments in the fridge. I loved everything about this rental! This is how a rental should look! Bravos to the owners you can tell they take pride in keeping their property in great shape welcoming their guests with everything they can possibly need. My only regret is that the ac was not available in the bedroom since I get hot at night but this the ac issue seems to be an island issue. Overall great short stay and I would definitely recommend! Can’t wait to come back again.

My family was stuck in Kaanapali with no power or food and these amazing owners not only provided them a clean safe place to stay until they could get on a flight but also helped with the costs. Completely unsolicited out of their pure kindness. My family said it was a perfect location, was clean and just lovely. Thank you! You’re forever in our hearts!

The location of this condo is great...walkable to all you'll want, even for the little ones in your family. The ocean toys and inflatable bed are helpful too!

We really enjoyed being near the beach and the pool. It was nice to be able to use beach chairs, boogie boards and sand toys.

Very clean and comfortable. Prompt comminication with our host. Check in was very easy. Location is great. Very close to restaurants, shopping, and minutes walk to a great beach. We truly enjoyed our stay.

This condo is perfectly located within walking distance of the beach, Charley Young beach is a block and a half away. Shopping at Kihei Village is a 10 minute walk along with restaurants and a grocery store. The best shaved ice hands down is located down by the rainbow mall which is approximately 4 blocks away. We liked the surfing monkey too until we discovered the other one. This condo is well equipped with beach chairs, umbrella and beach towels. They advertise boogie boards but there were none when we arrived. I notified Karen and we had some that day! Response time from owners was great. While they don’t supply the extras like shampoo, conditioner, etc. Other guest have left these items behind and more. Sunscreen and aloe to name a few. We’re a family of 5 and stayed her two weeks. The condo has a small A/C unit located in the living room. During our stay the temp never fell below 70 and ranged up to 92 but mostly high 80s. We did run the unit the whole time we were there along with all the fans in the condo and kept the curtains closed. This did keep the condo nice and cool. Also, keeping the bedroom doors open at night helped. We ate most of our meals here. They have grills in the pool area which we used frequently. Pool isn’t very big but it’s refreshing, spent several days laying by the pool. The neighborhood is quiet in general, however there is currently construction going on next door and it can be loud but didn’t really bother us. I highly recommend staying here.

This condo was great for our quick two night stay. It was in a good location and easy to get to. It’s a 5 minute walk to beaches. Condo was clean and decorated very nice.

We stayed during May, and this was an excellent vacation apartment. The place is a bit darker than the photos portray, and the quarters are quite close, but the amenities are what drew us to this property. Umbrellas, chairs, snorkel gear are all included, and this is literally a 5 minute leisurely walk to the two different beaches. My wife, 3 kids and I had an excellent vacation here. The kitchen has plenty of dishes for preparing light meals, which helps save on money as food in Maui is ridiculously expensive. Eating out for 5 was $50-$100 per meal most times. Overall, a great stay.

My group was 4 adults and 2 kids (almost 3 year old and an 11 month old) and the condo was a great fit for all of us. Was full of toys for kids, a booster chair for the tiny babe, as well as a pack n play… we appreciated all the toiletries and the stuff for the beach. The bedrooms don’t have AC - only the main room, so it was a little warm at night in the bedrooms. I was ok, but my 11 month old sleeps hot so it was a bit rough on him. (There is fans!) We loved how close it was to everything! We’d definitely stay here again!

We had a great stay in Maui- this is a clean property with great amenities. Our kids enjoyed the pool and it was nice to have beach chairs and an umbrella we could borrow. This property had everything we needed. Thank you.

What great hosts! They though of everything you would need to enjoy a vacation as a family. The unit is beautiful and fully stocked. From the kids toys to the beech toys, we didn’t need to pick anything up. Thank you!

We stayed for one night only. The property is small - there are only 2 proper beds (we were confused about that) and the pool isn't the greatest. But it's in a great location (walking distance to beach) however, loud construction right next door. The owners were very friendly and helpful.

Good location by beaches and just down the street by a whole cluster of food trucks as well as grocery store. Very responsive.

We LOVED the location of your rental... right in the middle of everything. Also the beach towels and chairs and the beach toys were a great addition.

Nice quiet apartment complex. Great location close to beaches and walking distance to coffee shops restaurants and grocery stores. Central location so easy out to all areas of Maui to explore. Fairly comfortable beds. Well maintained property for its age and excellent hosts who are very easy to get in touch with and help if needed. Would return again.

This was our 2nd time at this gorgeous, comfortable property - perfect for our multigenerational family - kitchen was well stocked and helped us eat in almost every night, and every breakfast. Beach across the street was my son’s fave on the island. Easy walk to supermarket, shave ice, stores. So great having boogie boards, beach toys, umbrella. Two bathrooms also made getting cleaned up after the beach quicker and more comfortable. We can’t wait to book our 3rd visit!

This house is perfect for a family with kids! It provided everything we needed. Our entire family came to Maui and 4 other families stayed in these condos and ours by far was the nicest and most stocked! When we come back, we’ll be trying book this house again. For reference, there’s boogie boards, 6 chairs, towels, beach toys, coolers and bags for the beach. Don’t worry about plates, cups and utensils because it has plenty. Sunscreen and aloe was provided but we bought our own before we saw them. Full sized shampoo, conditioner and body wash was stalked in each bathroom. Book it if you can!

We stayed 3 nights at Karen and Renes rental with 4 adults and one 2 year old. This is a comfortable unit for 2 couples and small child/children. The closet was well stocked with many things to keep young children entertained, books, toys, beach toys, pool toys, and had all the supplies needed for a comfortable stay including bath products, soap for DW, washing machine, towels, beach chairs and umbrellas. The unit is across from Charlie Young beach which has a great grassy area we love to watch sunset. It is very convenient access to walk to restaurants or grocery stores/shopping in Kihei. The pool was also very nice for younger children with a float toy, as it's not too deep. We didn't use the BBQ but they seemed functional. Hosts were very easy to communicate with. Only complaint was unit could do with a deeper cleaning as some dust build up around, which hosts were notified of.

We had a great stay in Maui! Condo is clean and well stocked. Close access to a great beach and within walking distance of many places to eat.

We were caught in the historic Southwest Airlines system meltdown in the winter of 2022. We were stranded at our layover in San Jose CA when southwest canceled our flight to Maui. I messaged the owners to say we wouldn’t be able to make it and they were so understanding and supportive. Since we were out of pocket some substantial costs to get back home, the owners were very kind to grant us a significant refund on the accommodation cost, even though we were past the refund date. So this is not a review of the property itself, since we never made it to Maui, but more a review of the owners (who had also been responsive and welcoming through the booking process too) and their kindness and helpfulness.
