The condo was beautifully decorated which instantly put you in a relaxed state. The sunsrises and sunsets from the lanai were magnificent. The inside stairs were unexpected and a bit difficult with the luggage but got use to them. The loft got hot and a bit uncomfortable, however we didn’t use the A/C. A minor disruption with the internet occurred during our stay but glad we were able to assist in fixing problems. Suggest informing guests that washer takes anywhere between 1-1.5 hours if using pre-programmed cycle with a secondary rinse cycle and dryer is a minimum of 70 minutes. All these issues are common on the island and did not have affect our opinion about the condo.
Overall the condo was a wonderful temporary home for us and we appreciate you allowing us to use it.

We really enjoyed staying at this place, very spacious and tastefully decorated, well-equipped with everything you'd need. Clean, quiet, great view, and great location from which to access all Kona adventures. Upon arrival, had a bit of trouble with the AC and wifi - but the owner was super-responsive and helpful, and we got it all sorted out and working in a short time. We appreciated her. The ocean front pool was not available as advertised, but through no fault of the owner; plus, two other nice pools in this elegant condo complex. This place is a Yes.

It's tough to beat this condo for location. It's in a well-maintained development of luxury units right on the ocean with beautiful landscaping, security, a couple pools, and far away from the cruise ship crowd. The unit itself has a spectacular view of the ocean from the unit's lanai, where we spent 90 percent of our time. Whale sitings, listening/watching the surf, and just relaxing. Although it could use a little modernizing, the unit is spacious and well decorated. Owners are super responsive to questions and concerns; lots of little signs about what to do/not to do abound. The only drawback is the inability to control the temperature inside. Hawaii gets hot and muggy, and though the ocean breeze is awesome, the inability to adjust the thermostat when you want to deploy the A/C is a concern. I understand the owners want to save electricity -- it's crazy expensive in Hawaii -- having to text the owners to override the pre-determined settings is awkward. But don't let that stop you from staying here. It's pretty close to perfect and a good value.

This unit was incredible. We have never stayed in a unit that was this well equipped with all the appliances, supplies and beach accessories necessary for our stay. Incredible views of the bay to watch sea life, surfers and the Manta Ray night dives and snorkel trips. Amenities on the grounds included a parking stall which was just in front which made loading and unloading a breeze, 3 swimming pools, BBQ facilities and recycle/garbage bins. The photos don’t do it justice. We will definitely tell all our friends about this place. A real GEM!

We were there for one month during which the tv did not work and was not"fixed" until the last week; the washing machine requires "babysitting" because it bounces all over . When I contacted the owner about some cleaning supplies, this was addressed immediately but other issues were not and there was no follow-up from the owner and for each issue, I felt like I had to complain, something that is not enjoyable on a holiday.
The main bathroom was like a sauna as it does not have a fan.
Apart from these issues -
The unit itself is nice and location and overall complex good.

Location was great and check in/out very simple. We loved hearing and seeing the waves as well as watching water activities from the lanai. Condo has lots of space. Grounds and pools at this location very nice. Jenni was great to work with-very responsive to issues with air and tv. She was able to walk us through very simple fix for air immediately and sent someone to look at tv which was also quick fix ( think it was us😂)! Easy access from airport and good base for activities all over the island. We'll definitely stay here again for any future trips!

This location was PERFECT. Sitting right on a cove adjacent to Night Snorkel with Manarays. Beautiful to see the boats with guests snorkeling. Snorkel from the public access you walk to. Be careful- it's rocky but worth it. The condo itself was very well appointed for 2 couples and a 12 year old. The beds were firm which was not to our liking - but I'm sure may be to others. Beach towels, chairs, umbrella provided. Absolutely gorgeous lanai! The lanai is where we spent most of our time when not out exploring. The carpet is old but clean. There was a slight odor when we entered the condo but that can be attributed to the AC being off prior to our arrival to conserve energy. Saving energy and recycling is important when visiting an island environment. Condo cooled down quickly and odor was never noticed again. Honestly, this was a fantastic stay! Great communication with owner prior to arrival. No issues to contact owner about while we visited. You won't be disappointed.

The condo is roomy and clean as a whistle! It is located right over the ocean and the views are extraordinary. We stayed for 10 days and the condo contained every tool and feature we needed. There are two or three pools on the property. The pool, which overlooks the ocean, is magnificent. We rented a medium size car but when we went to pick it up, all they had were vans. The space that is assigned to Jenny’s condo is a bit small but it worked!

If you can overlook the cracked tiles, worn carpet and 1970's décor, you might just find that 3604 at Kanaloa is excellent value and the perfect location for your next visit to the Big Island. Very functional and spacious unit with a beautiful view. Everything works well and the unit is well equipped with all the essentials. It's not fancy but we will stay again for sure!

Thanksgiving Vacation!
We had a wonderful time at this property. The outside patio was amazing and it overlooked a cool little bay. We were able to do some snorkeling there and even caught a few waves. You could also see the boats come in for the Manta Rey tours at night in the distance. It was close to shopping, restaurants, beaches, etc. My wife raved about the large master bathroom and the property had lots of extras such as beach towels, a cooler, etc. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Location at Kanaloa
We love staying at the Kanaloa at Kona complex, and this is one of very best locations / units available. The views and proximity to Heeia Bay are spectacular. The condo was very comfortable and everything functioned well ... exactly as advertised. There are a few things that could use upgrades or a little TLC (like the carpet), but this is just cosmetic and in no way detracted from our stay. Jenni was a great host; very responsive and easy to deal with. We will be back!

Jenni's family's condo is great. There was plenty of room for my family (me, wife, 20,18,11 year old kids) to be able to relax. The view from the large lanai is fantastic. The place has everything you need to have a wonderful vacation. Jenni was quick to respond to any question we had. Would highly recommend staying here if you get the chance.

The condo was spacious and well-equipped with lots of chairs, beach toys, puzzles, books, and even leftover condiments and spices. The sound of the waves on the lanai was the best. Wish we had more control of the thermostat. Large shower in the master bath with dual shower heads and good water pressure was great. If you check-in after dark, the lock box is on the wall (can't see it in the dark).

The kitchen is well stocked and had everything we needed for cooking. The two bedrooms and bathrooms downstairs were very private and the loft provided additional space. In addition the site has three pools - kid pool, quiet pool, and one one with an ocean view and is located within walking distance to a little beach on Heia Bay.

Great stay overlooking Keauhou Bay
Excellent plate to stay. We’ve enjoyed several visits to the area and have stayed at the Kanaloa property a few times previously, and this was the nicest unit we have stayed in. Great view, tons of space, comfy furniture, good air conditioning, all the kitchen appliances you would want, beach gear, everything you need for a perfect vacation was available. Definitely will return if we get the opportunity.
