The hosts were lovely, the room was really nice & the bed was comfy. Breakfast was good, plenty to choose from. Definitely would stay again if visiting morecambe.

The location is BEAUTIFUL! Viv was AMAZING and so friendly. We ended up in a massive traffic jam due to an incident on the way to our location, and Viv was wonderful in allowing for a later check in due to our situation. The room was clean and well laid out, we had an ocean facing room on the top floor, with plenty of comfortable sleeping room. We did a little exploring the following day with recommendations from Viv before we continued on to Scotland. Breakfast was delicious and made to perfection, other guests were equally as cheerful with the location and accommodation, but Viv and her positive welcoming demeanour was by far the highlight of our experience. Highly recommend staying here if you're visiting the area, or travelling through.

Our toilet didn't flush proper, but being the type of women we are, we had no issue lifting the back off the toilet and pushing the mechanism so it would properly flush. It would have become frustrating if we had to endure this more than 2-3 days, but we were only there for the evening, so it was fine. Again, Viv's beautiful personality made up for any potential issues we could find.

Everything was perfect. The Full English breakfast was luschious,as were all the facilities,tea/coffee/milk in my room,tv,shower,toileteries,everything was supplied. Plus Viv and Carl,owners,were brilliant,very friendly,helpful and were always on hand if you needed something. Am defo going to book with them when i return to Morecambe. Highly recommend the Balmoral for either long stays or just a short break.

Nothing could have been better,everything was superb. Pity tho,that Viv and Carl cudnt control the weather ha,it rained every day except one ha!! So,there was nothing i didnt like!!

Room was of an excellent standard, very clean and well decorated. Plenty of choice on the breakfast menu and the staff were extremely friendly. Well presented guesthouse and located close to local amenities.

There is nothing particularly that I did not like. I was a little unsure about booking a hotel in a tourist seaside destination as I have previously had poor experiences in a number of locations, however I did not have such concerns at The Balmoral.
