Seafront, just a staircase to reach a bay frequented only by fishermen, clean, large rooms with everything, great breakfast, the best you could want at a small price, wi fi a bit slow in the rooms, but fast on the terrace, a 7-8 minute walk to reach the center, the square, the restaurants.

Bruno is a great host. The room was very nice, comfortable and clean. The premises are very pleasant just in front of a small and beautiful beach. The breakfast was really good. Walking distance from Cidade Velha. Loved the hammock.

Villa Concetta is an amazing experience, if you like the ocean and the culture of Cape Verde go there and enjoy the time with Bruno, his friends and the atmosphere in a traditional village. Breakfast is simply great and location is one of the most colorful in Santiago. Rooms are clean, the view from the patio is great and there are superb restaurants nearby. Highly recommend.

Nice quiet place on the outskirts of Cidade Velha. Bruno was a great host, communication beforehand was smooth, he organized airport transfers for us and was extremly kind to give us a (very) late check out due to an evening flight out of Praia. The highlight of the accomodation is the terrace overlooking the ocean - a beautiful space to take the breakfast and perfect spot to enjoy the magnificent starry sky.

We booked the triple room, A/C would have been nice - as it was getting quite stuffy at night despite open window.

We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Concetta and would have been happy to stay longer. It's a really relaxing and quiet place to be, with a fantastic view from the balcony where you can spend all day in a hammock without much happening at all. The small beach is rocky but the water is wonderful and it's private most of the time. We also really liked the town of Cidade Velha. Great vibe, lovely people, fascinating history. I'm already thinking I would like to visit here again and stay at Villa Concetta.

Wifi a bit patchy but it wasn't a big deal. Spending time looking at a screen at Villa Concetta would be a waste!

We stayed for 3 nights in Feb 2022. The basic hotel has a fabulous terrace with a lovely view and short walk down to the rocky shore. Good breakfast is included. Bedroom was spacious with a decent shower. We loved Cidade Velha - great place to watch waves and see how the locals live as well as historical sites. Bruno, the owner, is helpful and organised our taxis to and from the airport for us. We enjoyed a lovely walk while we were there as well.

The single bed in our room was quite uncomfortable, it needs a mattress topper or something as I could feel the springs. Small window in the room but the lovely terrace makes up for that.

everything was good except for the breakfast was a bit basic (no fresh fruits) and the pillows are not good.

hospitality perfect, breakfast excellent, beautiful view and terrace! perfect to stay before flight and to visit Cidade Velha.

Most people might do Cidade Velha in 1 or 2 days. We stayed a week and enjoyed it. Doing it slow, with excursions to Praia with the minibus for only 100 Esc. The small city has a nice vibe and really good Restaurants. The layout of the city combined with its history makes it interesting to visit. We enjoyed staying on the terrace mornings, day, evening and night and got never bored by the exceptional views of the ocean. Even saw whales. Breakfast on the terrace was wonderful.

Everything was as expected. Only 1 room has a kitchen, so make sure you book the right room category if you need one. Last house in the village, so it is a small walk to town, but gives you tranquility.

Nice view and great hospitality

We had a wonderful stay here. Bruno, the owner was very kind and cooked a delicious breakfast for us every morning in front of the sea. The location is in a beautiful part of Praia, just 20 minutes from the centre. Highl6 recommend

It was just amazing The quiet place with a beautiful and natural view. The owner is really awesome person. The room are just perfect. I recommend it.

Good ratio quality price. The owner was nice and we enjoyed the breakfast in the terrace with sea-view. The hostel is located two min by car to Cidade Velha. There are several ongoing constructions and containers in the access to the house, so it is better to access by car.

The place is at a privileged area of the town, amazing views at the sea, perfect to relax, really safe, within minutes walking distance to the main square and with an access to a private small rocky beach. Bruno was a great host very kind and great service. Very good breakfast. I would totally stay here again.

Sparkling clean and tidy. Spacious room with many well thought details. Great views from the nice terrace. Very generous continental breakfast included in the price of the room. Easy walk to the old centre of Cidade Velha. Aluguers (shared minibuses) from Praia pass by near the guesthouse, 100 escudos one way). Direct access to a small beach below the guesthouse.

Despite of everything being very clean, a strong, bad smell was coming from the bathroom in my room. It seemed like they had been trying to use strong chemical smells to block the original smell, but for me that made it even worse. Rather weak wifi signal, with interruptions.

The place is very cosy, and Bruno was a perfect host, making our stay easier in every possible way. The sunset is amazing. You will enjoy it with a cold beer from the terrace. Fully recommended place to stay.
