Lage zum Zentrum war wunderbar, gegenüberliegendes Bachhaus, guter Ausblick

Versprochener Parkplatz war nicht verfügbar. Ausweichoption führte ins Nichts. Bei Rückfrage lautete der Kommentar des Vermieters: "Ich vermiete Wohnungen, keine Parkplätze." Bei Rückfrage bei der Buchung wurde von Frau Schlundt bestätigt, dass es einen Parkplatz geben wird.

Excellent location for sight seeing in Eisenach. The room was clean and spacious, all that was needed for a couple of days in the town. The staff were nice people too. A supermarket and bus stop, and the Bach house are all nearby, as are restaurants.

There was no wifi at all, different from what the booking indicates. You need to phone on arrival too, which is not always convenient for people travelling abroad especially without wifi at the property. Also, small things like soap and shampoo were nowhere to be seen, which felt a little stingy as we had to buy ourselves. A lot of stairs and no lift, so beware if you have a lot of luggage. The checkout time is 10am, but we had the cleaner suddenly trying to open the room door (we left the keys in thankfully) about 9, which made us feel rushed despite not out of bed...

The wifi was very poor, only accessible in the kitchen, and very slow. For collecting the keys, you need to call the owners. This was fine for us, as we can speak German - however, guests who cannot will need to ensure they've made arrangements in advance.

Location is excellent in the heart of the old town adjacent to the BachHaus, and on way towards Wortberg castle. Supermarket very close (approx. 300m) Spacious bedrooms, well equipped kitchen, two bathrooms (one shower).

Tight, steep stairs to haul any large suitcases.
