The workers are always so friendly. I’ve stayed here each year for the last 3 years. I really like how it’s a hostel that provides privacy. You aren’t stuck staring at other people in your cubicle. The A/C at night is wonderful.
The fridge is a little too small. Maybe not everyone utilizes it when they travel but it might be better to get a larger fridge.

Close to ferry port and decent showers
We are fortunate enough to have stayed in hostel all around the world but never have we been to or heard of one like this. We booked a private room but were told that if we wanted a key to our room we had to pay extra! This was even more frustrating considering those not in a private room had a lockable draw to keep their valuables but we had nothing. We were also told that it would cost 150 pasos per a bag to store our tiny carry on size backpacks for the day before our ferry back to the mainland. You did also have to pay for towels but I appreciate that’s not uncommon. I half expected them to charge us extra to have a bed in the room! The bed wasn’t very comfortable and our room had no bed linden in it, we had to ask them to supply it.

The staff were all very kind and interactive. I felt comfortable leaving my stuff there unattended and sleeping despite being a solo female traveler. I had to go to the pharmacy in the morning and they were kind enough to allow me to leave my stuff there, at no extra charge, past when checkout was so I could go get what I needed. Check-in and check-out were easy, and I had a locking drawer I was able to use for my more valuable items. It was my first time staying at a hostel, and it was quite beautiful and fun! It had a great view of the water from just outside the building, and was only a few minutes walk from grocery stores and the Cozumel main plaza (full of restaurants, shopping, etc.)
There's nothing in particular I didn't like that isn't just nitpicky. I had a hard time finding the light switches and went to the bathroom in the dark the first couple of times. There was a lot of construction going on when I was staying there, and I often felt bad for using some facilities while there were people trying to work on them, but that's no fault of theirs. The workers were all courteous. Would definitely recommend!

Showers had great water pressure and hot water. Initial person to check me in was very helpful and nice. Helped me to get a scooter at a reasonable price and delivered to the Hostel. Locked lockers were available with deposit and were spacious enough.
Anyone sleeping here needs to be able to deal with general noise while sleeping. There are people who do not respect quiet hours and nobody is really monitoring it. So, there will be people who want to stay up and talk until midnight while others want to sleep. I saw a conflict between two sets of guests. Also, the sliding doors for the sleeping area have a bend in the track. So, it makes noise every time it is opened and then again when it closes and hits the metal frame.
The air conditioning only turns on at 9PM and you have no general control over it. The beds are not very comfortable. I booked the night before my arrival because I was willing to pay extra so that I could check in early. However they would not let me check-in. Was odd. Had to chill on the beach with all of my stuff for two hours.
The stove is pretty old and not very functional. Took forever to boil water. The fridge is probably too small if the place was full of guests. Luckily the hostel was not completely full and there was room in the fridge.

Great location & nice set-up. All was good :) 😀

Location! It's good for a short stay. Hostel staff was extremly friendly and helpful. Super clean, great bathroom and kichen 🙂
The bunkbeds are on the corridor and the guests made insane noise at night going through it to the kitchen or bathroom. It is not hostel fault that people behaved that way but the interior design is not the most convenient.

The location is good with a short walk to the ferry terminal/main area of town, and it’s right on the ocean. aircon at night time.
the ‘dorm’ is actually a passageway and it was very loud with other guests walking past or being too loud in their private rooms (which were the other side of true passage and definitely not sound proof!)

The location was good and the employees were very friendly. They also spoke good English.
The hostel is basically one long hall, with beds on one side and private rooms on the other. This makes it pretty noisy. We had many mosquitoes inside the building and in the rooms.

Very good location, you can walk from the ferry. The hostel is clean, hot showers.
But VERY poor communication. I had my contact lenses sent to the hostel, the package was arriving after my check out. I let a member of the stuff know, I ve sent 3 messages to let them know, no reply, and they did not accept my package. There are private rooms in front of the pods with no sound isolation and almost every night people from private rooms came back drunk and were very loud. Also, I think for that kind of price they could have at least provided drinking water or reply to messages on booking.com. Would help if their customer number was on whats app......Chose the place on more expensive side hoping they would be professional, was looking for a safe place to receive a package. Just wasted my money, as for $5 more I rented a very nice one bedroom apt with a rooftop, just a bit further from the tourist avenues.

this is a really well located hostel, close to the ferry terminal and loads of restaurants. the staff were very friendly and I really like the honeycomb concept. the bed was very spacious and comfortable and the bathrooms were clean and showers were hot. it was still social even though you have a lot of privacy.
there were quite a few mosquitos in my pod because the doors are kept open all day. the kitchen area was a little untidy but this was really down to the guests and not the hostels fault.

The atmosphere was quite nice, the people who were in the hostel made the time good :)
The “room” was just a hallway with many boxes to sleep.
